Christmas Thread

One of my favorite Xmas treats is our family's candied walnuts.

Oh my gosh, I haven't thought of those in years-- my neighbor, long gone, used to make candied walnuts at the holidays, with some kind of maple sugar coating-- made with maple syrup, I guess. They were amazingly delicious.

Well, I do, and here's my new digital Christmas Card to prove it:

To all my TrekBBS friends, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

My Wife just got back from the grocery store and she said she got the very last Egg Nog on the shelf. I love Egg Nog (with my personal "additives"). Cheers.

I don't know if any of you watch Malinda Kathleen Reese on YouTube... she is probably mainly known for her Google Translate Sings videos, but she does other videos as well. For the last few years, she has released "Honest Christmas Song" videos. The one for 2019 just came out a few days ago, so I thought I would share it with you all here. :)

Spoiler warning: I feel that it is my modly duty to let you know that this video contains a brief The Mandalorian spoiler. Yes, it is the same spoiler that is all over the internet, and is even showing up right in headlines of mainstream news sites, so I'm reasonably sure that you are all probably aware if it, even if you have never seen The Mandalorian (like me), or even if you didn't know the show itself existed. But anyway, you've been warned.

Good luck for 2020!

Wife made me watch Rudolph from 1965.

5 minutes in, and Rudolph was in black face.

Or more accurately, he was in black nose.

Weird.
