We knew that after Human Nature.

A new episode of Wallace & Gromit was by far the winner of the Christmas Day ratings, according to overnight figures.
A Matter Of Loaf and Death pulled in 14.25m (53.3%) to BBC One between 8.30pm and 9pm. It peaked with a massive 15.88m (58.1%) at the end.
This year's Doctor Who Christmas special, 'The Next Doctor', had second place on Christmas Day with 11.71m and a 50.5% share in the 6pm hour. The audience was fairly solid throughout the hour, but jumped to 12.58m (51.6%) in the final five minutes.
I think the very fist Christmas special is still above this one in my personal esteem ("I know what kind of man I am..."), but damn it was good.
Because you never saw giant robots or monsters trampling bits of london in the original series.

Those ratings aren't at all bad given the earleir timeslot and the lack of the Kylie Factor - off the top of my head, they're around the same level the first two Christmas specials, which both ran later in the day.Well it looks like it lost out in the ratings to Wallace & Gromit by a good couple of million.

I dont disagree with the notion that the Daleks would have such a database, but its really very convenient that the Cybermen have it for this story.the 10 Doctor montage was great, but where did the Daleks get that footage from in the first place?
I'm guessing the Daleks just recorded images of encounters with each Doctor and I'm sure the Daleks must have taken over races with information and data on each Doctor
It was pretty much a Dalek Doctor Database, say that three times fast....

I I don't know what a "Megazord" is, but I'm sure I'd like them.![]()

Thank you! Well, they do sound awesome, but they're not exactly the first occurrence of giant robots in fiction, are they?they're the giant combined forms of the zords, mechanical whosits used by the Power Rangers
