To Praetor: My understanding is that Hal Jordan was pretty young when he initially became a Green Lantern. Late 20s or around 30 would be about right.
Do you hate movies or something?Oh shit no.You might not have to feel sorry for Routh:

Disclaimer: I don't know if Den of Geek is that reliable. They claim to have heard something about Superman, but their link to IESB is a year old.
Oh shit yes.
He loves quality film-making, as do I. Singer did a beautiful job directing a beautiful film, so I hope he comes back to do another one.
To JacksonArcher: Chris Pine is 28. He'd probably be 29 during the production of a GL film if he did get the part. So if you're okay with 25, I don't see why you'd consider Pine too young.
Well, for starters, I didn't know Pine was 28. I thought he was in his early twenties, based on reports that J.J. Abrams wanted someone really young for the role of Kirk.
However, I think that's a perfect age in any case. He does look a bit young to be nearing 30, but I guess Star Trek will be a big indicator whether or not he can pull off acting and being older than he is.

Brian Austin Green is trying to throw his name into the ring for Green Lantern.

I would have laughed my ass off hadn't I seen his portrayal of Derek Reese in TSCC before.
Chris Pine would work as Kyle Rayner not Hal Jordan...I wouldn't mind David Borenaez...
