I just Googled "Chris Pine" + guitar and that's what came up, on multiple sites.

I also tried to find a clip from the movie (Blind Dating) of him with the guitar, so I'd be able to tell whether he was playing or not, but didn't know where in the movie it happened and I kept getting sidetracked while skimming through nine-minute chunks on YouTube.

Edit:

Okay, found it (at about 7:00) and it does look as if he might know his way around the instrument, but it's too brief to tell for sure.

Yeah, I did figure in hindsight that you googled Chris and guitar. I shoulda. But you are very good at research, and I haven't got the vision for it anyway; so I do appreciate it. I didn't wait for that video to load; but there's only one place I remember that he played guitar, and that's where I got the notion that he really could. Thanks, M'!

In this screen cap, the doctor talks to Danny about an experimental surgery that can help him "see" by bypassing his eyes and going straight into his visual cortex.

Very nice hands.

Oh sure; especially the archery scene. I recently got all of his movies on DVD and intend to do some screen caps of them.

The clip I linked was from near the beginning, past the little-kid sequences, just after the part with him watching Casablanca and just before a friend calls him to come out to the basketball court. The bit with the guitar lasts only two or three seconds.

M', lookin' stuff up :techman:

ah god. just when i think i can get through a day without needing a cold shower along comes Jeri with her wonderful screen caps. Is there something wrong with me? Just looking at the guy's hands gives me the hots!

Pine's really going to be entering into pop culture now that he has a very successful film for all to see him in. I look forward to what other movies he does in the next couple of years, will he be the next Harrison Ford maybe (younger of course)?

Nope! :D Or rather the same thing's wrong with me! That's why I had to get them in there. I like good hands, and Chris's are exxxxcellent.

I just discovered this place a few days ago and have enjoyed reading the different threads, particularly this one, giggling my way through page after page. I love all the comments. I'd like to contribute some pictures, comments, etc. when I get up the nerve but I wanted to kind of introduce myself first and get past my first post here.

Starquest, great to see you here! Always like to see another fan of Chris and Trek. Welcome to the BBS and the thread. (Btw, I think newbies have to reach a certain number of posts before they can post pictures.)

More from "Blind Dating": two sneaky grins. This one is entitled, "...new perfume?"

And this one is entitled, "...goodnight Doris! (...it's Leeza!)"

You are right. Thanks for the info.

He's so cute in Blind Dating. I haven't seen that movie yet. Of Chris' movies other than Star Trek I've only seen Bottle Shock, which I enjoyed. Hated the wig, though. I have Surrender Dorothy sitting on my coffee table waiting for me to have time to watch it and I've missed Princess Diaries 2 every time it's been on tv lately.

He did a good job in this film. I gave in and bought all his DVD's recently. This is the first one of that batch I've watched. I already had his episode on CSI:Miami discs, and I made one of his "Guardian" episode from the TV.

"...Larry, is there somebody in the back?"

Morning and welcome STARQUEST! It is always nice to meet other Chris fans! LoLing that you hated the Bottle Shock wig too. Wasn't it just awful? I can't imagine how they let him walk in front of the camera with that abomination on his head!!!

Jeri, i totally love the one in #315. You can see those absolutely loverly scars of his. Thank you for posting all of these wonderful screen caps! Just don't overwork your eyes!!
