Chris Pine appreciation thread

Huggability is a major feature of this role.

Danny goes in for the experimental procedure.

We all want to do this.

Btw, thanks for mentioning trek core. There are some really nice caps of the movie plus I like the behind the scenes shots.

I know it; what a combination. He's got all that beard and cragginess but still maintains a boyish charm. I don't know quite how he does it, but I'm glad he does.

Edit: Trek Core is amazing! You can get lost in there for days.

They put the chip in his brain; but it slips, and Danny has to remain still.

Oh, yeah; he was very ill. They took him off in a rescue squad.

Danny's speech about Leeza's beauty and love in the restaurant was a three-hanky scene. He risked his life by setting out to see Leeza just one time before the technology knocked him out.

That little movie must have taken a lot of preparation on his part; I have a vision problem myself, and I've been around blind individuals time to time.

I used to visit the local association for the blind pretty regularly and knew several individuals who used canes and dogs and played beep ball. Chris does a good job with the stance and mannerisms. He looked like a blind person to me.

Well, here we come to the end, where Danny and Leeza and both big families seem to be living happily ever after.

He was the star of the show and had top billing. :D This was pretty easy to screen cap, since as I said, he was in practically every scene.

Wow, the more I see scenes from this movie the more I want to get it. Thanks so much for all the screen caps.

My pleasure! I had no idea what to expect from Blind Dating, but it's enjoyable and offers a cornucopia of Chris! :D

In other news, we just finished watching "Bottle Shock," and it was a good movie. It stars Chris, Alan Rickman and Bill Pullman; and it's based on a true story. We enjoyed it.

I mention this one, because it's available right now on television (including HD); so if you get Showtime, you can set your TiVo's. Here are the times (Eastern), according to the IMDb (check your listing):

Mon. Oct. 26 4:15 AM SHOW Bottle Shock
Fri. Oct. 30 10:30 AM SHOW Bottle Shock

I plan on starting to screen cap Princess Diaries 2 tomorrow, if things shape up ok.

I watched Bottle Shock also and really liked it. I thought it was a charming and informative movie, with a good cast. Alan Rickman is always a delight to behold.

Thank you for the upcoming Princess Diaries 2 screen caps. Although I haven't seen the movie yet I've seen some really cute pictures from it and have watched a few scenes on Youtube, including, I believe, some bloopers from the movie.

Anyone seen Confession? It looks interesting from the youtube videos I've seen, and the bloopers are really funny.

I saw it (my library brought it in from another local library)...its pretty good actually. He is really young in it.

The bloopers are hilarious! They show a scene where they sing instead of doing the dialog. A HOOT!

Bottleshock is ok. Decent cast. Its a very unexciting movie...but decent enough.

Btw, here is a link to my gallery at Apple, which contains the three Chris albums from CSI:Miami, The Guardian and Blind Dating. They are available for download:

I think it's a good movie for Californians, particularly; it's a nice piece of their history and American history.

what is Bottle Shock like
It's based on a true story that happened in the 1970's. It's kind of funny, with hippies and family squabbles and wine snobs. I have it on DVD; I might try to screen cap it, but there didn't seem to be many closeups of Chris -- and his character's hair is a fright. He has ratty hippie hair.

Nobody better try and stop me. ;)

Here are screen caps from Princess Diaries 2, the first scene Chris is in, when his character and the princess meet.
