Studio? What studio? I recall that he leased a warehouse for a while, but I didn't know he had a real studio.
Not a studio. A "studio". 
I didn't say it was a real studio. But yes, I meant the warehouse he tried to convert, but the warehouse wasn't set up to handle it. last I heard, I think there's a motorcycle company in that space now.
Was the move to Atlanta purely for the "studio" and Axanar, or was it just something that Alec wanted to do for himself? I'm a little confused by them filming some in Atlanta and some in LA. Wouldn't it have been easier to just stay in LA and film the whole thing there rather than going back and forth?

As I understand it, the money from all the original fundraising had run out. Rob Burnett had made arrangements for financing so they could stay in the California warehouse, but Alec got in the middle of it, and it all fell apart. That's when Alec decided to move to Atlanta since they are filming a lot of movies there.
Not to mention the fact that he hadn't failed a business there yet.

Since Ares Studio is owned by Alec, and he's filming some of Axanar there, wouldn't that technically mean that money from Ares Studios is going towards the production of Axanar?
I'm really starting to wish they would do something involving Axanar in one of the CBS All Access series, just so we can see Alec completely lose his mind.
