It is more then that . Alec owns ares studios. Alec owns Axanar producgtions. Alec was personally named in the lawsuit and settlement.

If Exxon lost a case saying they couldn't frack in a certainly country they couldn't just create "exxon fracking" as a independent company and let it just do all their fracking for them. No judge would allow that.

also goes deeper. In reports from the first round of axanar, alec kept all the axanar fund in his PERSONAL bank account. There was no separarte account for axanar. I'm willing to bet there is no separate account for ares sudios. If axanar and ares and Alec money is all getting co-mingled are they really independent?
 
He is nothing more than a con man, not a business man, not a producer and certainly he is no friend to Trek fandom. For him, it is all about scamming and conning to make a buck to support himself: period! The deposition for the Hutzel case posted a few pages back is a perfect example of the kind of low-life this guy really is. I believe there is a special place in hell for people who rip-off and take advantage of mourning widows. This guy is a cancer.

Those patches really are nice looking. If I knew I would actually get them, and if I knew they would actually make a movie, I might actually donate.

And what does that even prove? Trekyards audience is a tiny micro-segment of the overall Star Trek fanbase, and a Venn diagram of Trekyards subscribers and Axanar donors is probably almost a circle. There's not some massive untapped market for what Alec Peters is selling, just the same tiny-ass market there's always been!
 
So far, donor email today recapping the October shoot, as if we all hadn't been paying attention to begin with. Looks like I spoke too soon, but I definitely didn't get any yesterday, so a one day reprieve.

To be fair, what was linked to was a post on the Axanar website highlighting the Axanar-related videos that Trekyards had done in the past, not a post on the Trekyards website.

From the e-mails (I don't bother with the click-bait video blogs) - it really seems like at this point he's full on daring/goading CBS to call him on Breach of Settlement. he seems really out of touch with reality in some respects.

I don't think its out of touch. I truly think, at this point, that he only has two cards to play, and one is the victim. Well, right now, he isn't the victim, since he isn't being sued. So, he needs to get someone to attack him again to be a victim again.
