Well, that was an incoherent mess.
To someone who'd never seen the original narrative, would that have made any sense? Who were all those people? What the war all about? What the hell is even going on?

On top of all that, the recap straight up steals the title of the original FASA module where Alec took most of his inspiration from:

Wow.

I haven't seen this stuff in years. The SFX looks pretty bad. Cartoony. The best part was Soval & Kharn's makeup. That was done pretty well.

I wonder if CBS will demand that His Majesty alter the ending title card. It still says "Star Trek" on it.

They could have at least done some magic in post to eliminate Tony Todd's spit. :techman:

This is the captain's quarters.

Well that's just courting Danger.

Advance planning for the blooper reel?

Accidents like that happen with greenscreens all the time. If the green shades are different enough it’s not a big deal, but if your screen has hotspots and shadows then it’ll hurt ya.

I can never tell if you are a devoted follower or just a dry snark-shooter.......
More adopting the historian approach of sharing 'primary sources' that may be relevant to the discussion. I think it adds value to thread when people look back on it in years to come. I am not a supporter but try to post these items without sharing my own opinion, unless something really confuses me such as the other day when Alec wanted people to update their details on Ares Digital and email him the same details so they could get their patches.

Although through studying history in college I do approach everything with some scepticism and find most 'official' statements on anything to have a level of absurdity. So I am probably closer to the snark-shooter than devoted follower. ;)

Astonishing... simply astonishing.

I don't know what's more surprising - people still giving money to Axanar, or Axanar publicly admitting they're still effectively making a profit off of CBS IP.

Just waiting for the other shoe to drop now.

Tick...tock...tick...tock...

A little oddity. I clicked on Ares Digital and at the bottom of the page are links to Axanar social media. Clicked on the twitter link and I got this:
https://twitter.com/StarTrekAxanar

Bit odd they would link to what seems to be a parody account...

This was the page I clicked from:
https://aresdigital.axanar.com/register/new-donor
 Good catch! Looks like their webmaster forgot to change old links. I’m thinking Axanar used to own that page, somehow lost it, and then someone else came along and took it somehow.

I think this also happened to one of their old domain names too.

Obviously his current webmaster (probably Alec himself) forgot/wasn't told the correct address - assumed - and didn't bother to read what was on the feed, he/she/it just saw something that looked like Axanar and said: "okay, done..." :rommie:
