I watched the teaser trailer, and I was bored with it. I made it all the way through, but I think it would've been better if another actor had done that voiceover.
Apparently it's just an old trailer variant that Rob Burnett put together for Alec several years ago, it just wasn't wildly disseminated at the time

I thought rmb was a deadbeat who did nothing. At least that is the axanar line.
Apparently there’s a new trailer dropping tonight at 9pm Eastern time. It’s called “The Gathering Storm”. I hope this time it actually shows something new.

As for the fundraising, I think they’re close to $20K already. Upper teens at least. Never fails to astonish...

Just watched the teaser trailer. It's basically people staring intently at something beyond the cameraman interspersed with space action shots and preceded by classic 60's NASA footage intro playing over a Kennedy speech. Obviously it's only been a week or two since they filmed so I wasn't expecting much. Regardless, seeing the actors in slight motion in the uniforms makes me think something is off in the fit/styling. It just feels too tight even on in shape actors and rubs me (pun intended) the wrong way like the season 1 TNG onsies did. YMMV. I hope that at least some of the backers eventually get some closure if it finally comes out.

There's another trailer out with footage from the recent shoot.
thst was underwhelming. With the nasa footage I was almost expecting faith of the heart to start up.
In the blog post on FanFilmFactor about the new trailer it is stated the donations from the YouTube chat will go towards the studio and not the film:
