Carmilla the series

Maybe. Personally I wanted Carmilla to stay a vampire, and I wanted her to turn Laura. Two vampires are more interesting than two humans.

I felt the same. I didn't care for Carmilla being made human without her consent. I see the show going for not condemning her to live forever without Laura but the choice should have been hers rather than one made for her by Inanna/The Dean. She's spent the last 330 odd years under the Dean's thumb with no say in the matter. Making her human again was just one more life decision The Dean makes for her. It's an odd choice when Laura's story is all about her choosing her own path and not letting anyone make her choices for her. Carmilla never gets that kind of consistent agency.

I heard. Looking forward to it. :) I miss my twice weekly dose of Elise and Natasha so it's nice they pop up once in a while.

It is nice to see them together. I heard Elise will be on Murdoch Mysteries next season. It would be neat if the could get both Elise and Nat on the show. I'd love to see them together in those period costumes.

Me too!

I'm very excited to see Dominique Provost-Chalkley in this!

If it's been five years, that would make Laura 24 years old. Isn't that a little young to be an English professor? Also, the series was set in Austria but the movie is set in Canada. Either the writing staff forgot about that or Laura and Carmilla decided to move.

I love Natasha's shirt! Her entire outfit really, very classy.

It is. Here's an interview with her.
