You mean Kurt Russell in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 and Jeff Bridges in Tron: Legacy? Are they doing to Jackson what they did to Kurt Russell in Tron Legacy?

Obviously not quick enough.Yes, I edited my post to correct that.![]()
Great trailer! Best part: Nick Fury and the cat.

That cat will probably take out Fury's eye![]()
This is actually how Jackson looks normally. They use makeup and CGI to age him up in the present day movies. No, they're doing to Jackson what they did to Russell in Guardians od the Galaxy vol.2.![]()

There was part that kind of irked me. Another hero with a quick dissolve helmet.

I think that's five heroes so far
Iron Man
Black Panther
Spider-man
Star-Lord
Captain Marvel
Yup, all of the pieces are in place. It needs to happen. In The Winter Soldier, Fury stated that the last time he trusted somebody, he lost an eye. I can just see Fury picking up the cat and bringing it close to his face and saying "who wants to give kitty a kiss?", just before disaster strikes.
War Machine
Now I kind of want that to actually happen, if only to completely subvert expectations as well as the added bonus of royally pissing off certain fans.![]()
The airport scene in Civil War when they confronted Cap. "Isn't it weird how you run into people you know at the airport?"Hmm. I don't remember any scene with War machine and a quick dissolve helmet.
He wore his helmet all through his War Machine scene in "Age of Ultron"
He was helmeted all through Civil War till he crash landed
Infinity War was all War Machine with Cheadle doing HUD scenes. Only at the end did we see Rhodes.

That's a good question. The theory was that she was playing Carol's mother. Until recently, Carol's mother was presented as a human. They recently retconed her origin in the comics that so that her mother was actually a Kree refugee. If the changing or origin was done to line up with the movies, that her being Carol's mother would still fit.So now that we've finally seen Annette Benning in character (I don't think we ever saw any photos of her), any theories as to who she's playing? I know very little of Carol Danvers' history other than the basics (although I recently started reading the Deconnick run).

Now that's an interesting thought. It looks like she's playing a representation of the Kree Supreme Intelligence.
To be fair, she already does this in the comics, at least during the Deconnick run. There was part that kind of irked me. Another hero with a quick dissolve helmet.

Yeah, I remember the mother theory. I don't think that really works based on what we see here, even if she's holding back on Carol. That's a good question. That seems rather...mundane.It looks like she's playing a representation of the Kree Supreme Intelligence.
