Captain Marvel (2019)

I have to admit to being a little annoyed by the negative comparison to video games. I'm a huge gamer, and these days most video games are just as deep as even the best movies. I'd honestly put games like the Uncharted, and Mass Effect series, and The Last of Us and Horizon: Zero Dawn right up there with the best big action movies.
Could not possibly agree more. Both Uncharted and The Last of Us, are two of my all time favorite games. Both full of drama, action, and great relationships the way many a movie does not. Logan reminded me quite a bit of Last of Us. In fact, looking at Jackman and the young actor who played X-23, I thought they would have been perfect for a LoU movie.

If Justice League or some these other superhero bombs had had the coherent storytelling, drama, action, and fun, of either of the aforementioned games they might have made a lot more money.

Reminds me a little of Laurence Fishbourne in that getup.

I thought that too and then I guiltily thought of that episode of Extras and also this exchange:

Damn, he looks sooo weird with the two eyes, full head of hair...and a suit!

To me not really. I recently watched the third XxX movie with Vin Diesel

Once they're all done Sam Jackson on screen will look like his 1995 Pulp Fiction self. It will be very convincing.

In fact I bet they're using Pulp Fiction as an example/template.

He did a lot of movies in the mid-to-late 90s in which he didn't have ridiculous hair/facial hair that would make much better reference material. I wonder if he got 3d scanned by Lucasfilm for the prequels, since that would be a handy thing to have.

I have never seen that film but Samuel L Jackson has had hair in many different roles. I do not think it's been his natural hair since the early 90s. He wears wigs for whatever fits the role. So he does not have to waste time growing out his hair. I am sure at his current age he could not grow out a full head of hair if he wanted. But he has been wearing wigs long before he needed to do so.

Yeah, certainly as far back as Die Hard With a Vengeance (1995), he didn’t wear a wig but was receding at the front and had a bald patch at the back.

I'm recalling Loaded Weapon 1, where he had hair in... Places.
