Can you find your home on Google Earth?

Ok, I won't do the place where I am now, but this is the farm where I grew up:

Just for orientation purposes...

Closest town visible to the right, population ~1000.

One thing that's changed since I was there is that the road is now sealed. Civilisation!

I attempted Street View last night. I noted that the available views are close to, but not in front of, my house. :bolian:
Also, Street View didn't get hold of my car, while the main top-down view did. :bolian:
Even better, the camera caught an extreme close-up of my current next-door neighbour trying to leave (including a reflection of the special camera on the car's side window). :guffaw:

The Street View also located my parents' street, but not their house.
However, one camera is situated smack bang in front of the place I used to live as a child. Everything has changed. Many more UPVC windows and doors than I remembered. :)

For some alternate views you guys should try Bing.com's maps, they're more 'angular' and not as 'looking straight down'.

From a born and bred city boy that just look like a dream come true...so open and free....and more importantly, no neighbours.:)

Here's where I live now:

And here's where I lived for three years in Romania:

Yes, I can find it, but they apparently took the pic in the middle of winter and all the plants are dead and grey! Looks like something from a Tim Burton movie. :scream:

I looked for a winter pic since the trees kind of obscure the view. I found this one from November that you can see my house in:

The family farm (which I now co-own with my sister) shows up much clearer:

Yes. While the bird's eye view is rather fuzzy, the street view shows the front of my house with disturbing clarity.

My state:

My City:
(My house is in the red circle, my college is in the yellow circle, and my place of employment is in the blue circle)

I can zoom in on my house, close enough to see our car, but I'll show my college instead:

I'm going to assume that most everyone over the age of 5 or so can find their home on Google Earth.

I can see my car still parked outside the old office park I worked at in California--that image is YEARS old which is odd considering I thought Google updated those more often.

Why yes, but I just use Google Maps.

Here's a fairly broad overview of Southern Ontario.

Next we go a bit closer to view the G.T.A., including Mississauga, where I live.

Zooming in a bit:

Closer still, and I've removed the street names:

And here we go. I'm not gonna point out my specific place of residence, but this is my neighbourhood.

I can understand why some people might think of the street-view feature as a little creepy -- I used it to check out my parents' house, and you can actually tell there's someone in the washroom at the time they took the shot!
