Binge watching on Netflix

Well, I don't have Netflix (at least not until Discovery comes along) but at least seasons 3 and 4 are very binge-able (is that a word?) I do have the show on blu-ray and last year, in remembrance of its cancellation 10 years ago, I did a summer binge of those seasons.

So yeah, it's a pity that this binging phenomenon wasn't here yet. It may have saved ENT.:(

The relationship is that the Borg in Regeneration tried to send a signal to the Delta quadrant, which is where the Voyager ended up.
That's where the Borg originated, the Delta Quadrant. Just because a signal was sent by the Borg to the Delta Quadrant at the end of "Regeneration" doesn't connect it to VOY in any way. Beyond the direct connection to the film 'First Contact,' the only other piece of established Trek it ties remotely into is their second season introduction in the TNG episode "Q-Who."

Check the original context of my post. The OP said "If you ignore the obvious cross over attempts with VOY storyline, the series has alot going for it." I asked what the crossover was exactly, as the obscure link with the Delta quadrant was the only one I could think of.

I still have no idea what the OP actually meant.

I always loved Enterprise since day one. Loved the whole exploration aspect, getting into space for the first time basically. The Andorians were a great re-occuring part. Season one was a bit hit or miss, but still fun.
Season two I remember it getting better.
Season three was a bit extreme with the Xindi and the Expanse, but fun.
And then there was season four...

MOHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!

Oh my friggin gawd Season Four was excellent. It is like they said, and I remember hearing this, that they knew they were going under after that season, so they told the writers "Go nuts". And so the writers did.

You find out why Klingons didn't have the ridges in the original series.
An episode with Organians.
How Vulcans continued on the path of logic.
The excellent two part mirror universe story.
A hold over from the euginics Wars.
And more and more Trip and T'pol, and I was shipping them so hard.

Honestly the retrospective of Riker and Deana was enjoyable enough to see those two looking back on that era.

But the death of Trip was complete and utter contrived and shoe horned in hogwash.
To matter the fact, I recorded season four of Enterprise (love love love that season) and then made a version of the final episode cutting out the death of Trip scenes because I thought they were stupid.

And in the books you find out that Trip was shown to be killed to enter covert operations. He was later re-united with T'pol and they had a kid I heard. Hey, I'll go with that.

And the thing about Enterprise that I always wanted to see in movie form was their crew and the new Federation in the Romulan war. They were building towards that and we never got there, though a book was released on that.

People bag on Enterprise, I just bag on Trip's death and love the rest.

I'm commenting on a rather old discussion, but was just browsing and found this and wanted to say I agree with you!

Not all but on most. I also love ENT from day one. I love the backstories about the klingon, the vulcans, the path to federation etc. Love Malcolm Reed, also T'Pol. The only part I don't like is the mirror (but I generally dislike mirror stories anyway). I also diregard TATV and accept the ENT relaunch novels as head canon instead.

I am on a journey re-watching star trek in netflix according to in-universe chronology so naturally started with ENT. I finished ENT last week and embarking on TOS but I found I keep wanting to go back to ENT again.

I am currently watching ENT for the first time on Netflix. I had a pre misconception from reading stuff online but I can truthfully say I have loved every single episode from the beginning so far (just coming up to the end of the second series). I don't see why some people criticise so much. It is indeed bingable - I had a day off work the other day started watching at 12md and didn't turn the TV off till 2am :D The one thing I love about Star Trek as a whole is learning about the different races and cultures and I think ENT does that really well. Another thing I like is when the ST crews go down to alien planets and interact with its inhabitants I don't know why but it is really satisfying for me to see the different cultures and the different races in their own environment instead of just being based on a star ship. :bolian:

Welcome to the club. Glad you enjoy ENT!

ENT gives this an interesting twist by the crew usually going in local disguise rather than in their uniforms, thus giving a more candid view of the alien culture. There was less of this in season 3, and none in season 4 that I recall.
