Big Brother USA - 12. Season Commentary Thread

You realize of course if they did put intelligent people with a clue or any common semnse on this show; it would get boring pretty quick. They comb the country to find the dumbest, most self centered or vain people for this show. Hell, I'm sure most of these idiots consider it a 'stepping stone' to a hollywood acting career.

Anyone who would jump at the chance to spend 12 weeks doing this ridiculous routine week in and week out; and agreeing to be filmed 24/7 has got to have a screw loose somewhere; or be dilusional enough to think "This will open doors for me in Hollywood."

I would jump at the experience to be on the show. The money isn't bad either. I have no delusions of going to Hollywood.

I'd be playing a combination of Enzo and Ragan's strategy, taking Enzo's talking with everybody with Ragan's idea of being near the top of competitions but not winning in order to keep some target off my back.

After Dark was pretty awesome last night. There was a hilarious conversation between Rachel and Ragan and then Brendon idiotically came to her defense because he saw her crying (which she does every 5 minutes). He made a fool of himself in the backyard and I'm sure we'll see it on tomorrow night's show.

They saw right through Brendon's little show at the POV ceremony and for now the plan is to vote out Rachel, but continue to tell them that they are voting out Brendon so that they will be shocked on Thursday night (hopefully causing Brendon to become flustered in the HOH competition).

It's all getting so ridiculous...I just can't believe how stupid Brendon is. I truly cannot fathom it. He is so dead wrong about what he thinks is going on in the house. He's got this big picture in his head of who all of the alliances are and who would put who up if they won HOH and it is just so wrong! They are delusional.

The whole Neanderthal thing was hilarious. I'll only be able to watch After Dark this season, but I'm glad I have.

My thoughts on Wednesday's show:

- The Brigade is going to cut Matt before the Final Four.
- Matt thinks he high and mighty when he’s HOH? Look at your girlfriend Brandon!
- Britney and Ragan have been being horrible outside of the TV times and Rachel and Brandon have been acting like spoiled brats, hopefully the Brigade runs the house cause all four of them don’t deserve to win.
- I’ve been visiting a lot of the CBS Big Brother message boards that seem to be split fifty-fifty between Brenchel and everyone else. I would like any Brenchel fan to prove to me they deserve to be there anymore than anyone else, like they seem to think. I really want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it’s hard to when they act like pouty children when they don’t win.
- Jeff and Jordan, really? I’ve really have enough of people that have played their season and come back because they were popular. It was a ratings grab and I didn’t like it. This coming from a person who was cheering for them last season. And Jeff pimping his show, ugh.
- Kathy may be double-faced (sucking up to whomever’s in power), but Rachel did pick her because she’s weak and she won fair and square. Grow up Rachel, just because you’re in love with Brandon doesn’t mean you can cry and call people out. She won the part of the competition and she’s not allowed to cheer?
- Brenchel’s downfall was that they became a pair and didn’t do anything but suck each other’s faces off. I doubt they’d be in this predicament if they had been separated outside of their Diary sessions.
- Brandon’s whole chucking the ball cause he was getting pissed off and Rachel’s reaction: these guys are still a couple right?
- I love how it became a party after Brenchel was eliminated from the veto comp.
- For people who call this season boring, it’s people in a house 24/7, only so much can happen.
- Yeah, Brandon throwing Britney under the bus is going to save you or Rachel. What is up with this season and these people thinking that if they bitch out the veto holder that it is going to save them.
- I watched my first After Dark ever last night and I felt it really helped me get a grasp on these people outside of CBS edits. I still hate Brenchel though.

Agreed. That was hilarious..I thought I was gonna hurt myself laughing. Brendon is an unbelievable moron. He must think people are as stupid as he is; there's NO way his martyrdom act is going to work.

When Britney started stomping and imitating him, I was LMAO!! And she nailed him just right in the veto meeting..he is quite simply a terrible sport. He's all happy and ok with his whore rubbing it in people's faces when they win something but when they're beaten, "it's crap" and they're all assholes/douchebags. He is going to melt the fuck down when Rachel gets sent home tonight. :guffaw:I can't wait for that!

And Rachel, well, I honestly don't have enough words in my vocabulary to describe what I think of her. She is so selfish and trapped in her own world where everyone's out to get her and she does nothing wrong. I would think it's sad if it wasn't so fucking funny. :guffaw::guffaw:

Rachel's one of those people who just likes to set things on fire and then stand back and laugh evilly while it burns. I would never want my husband to try to fight my battles for me, I'm a big girl-unless someone starts hitting me or something, and even then, I could most likely still handle myself-and it makes both of them look even more pathetic that he thinks it's ok for him to just go out and attack people because the crazy ass whore is crying crocodile tears again...she's so fucking fake and just likes to start shit. Ragan nailed her spot on with telling her how she's at the center of every argument in the house.

Normally, I only casually watch BB when the hubby's watching (of course, I LOVED Jeff & Jordan last year, so cute) but this year, I'm glued to it as much as he is.

Ok, Rachel is hot but someone needs to rip out her vocal chords and/or tell her to stop talking about "her and her man" like she's some-kind-of sassy diva.

Tonight's thoughts:

- Ragan is sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. He didn’t need to interject anything, let’s just put a target on your back.
- Brendon’s already considering marriage and kids? After a relationship of five or so weeks? Definitely never had a relationship before.
- Rachel pulls off her best move of the game, trying to piggyback of Brendon’s stupid move. Too bad it was too little, too late.
- Enzo: The Italian Howie.
- It was weird seeing the edit of the fight from a couple nights ago after seeing it on After Dark. I was actually surprised how level it was: catching Brenchel for being idiots, while also catching Ragan and Britney being catty and teenagers. I’m glad they kept the “Neanderthal” part.
- The saboteur crap was old when it was Annie.
- Rachel believed the saboteur? She really thinks that the saboteur is going to save her and HER MAN! She loses any smart points she got earlier.
- Who writes Julie’s scripts? Really, a kindergartener could do better.
- Brendon’s ex-fiancee totally rocks! I love that her and her mom are drinking and laughing. “When my family and I sit there and watch the show, we are so grateful she didn’t marry him.” I laughed for a solid ten minutes.
- Brenchel’s final speeches were just dreadful. I’m still trying to figure out why so many people are throwing themselves under the bus this year.
- HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! She’s gone! She’s gone! At least she left with dignity.
- And the destruction of Brendon’s head begins.
- Brandon’s goodbye message made me want to puke. They didn’t target you for falling in love, they targeted you because she wins HOH’s and you win POV’s and you’re a pair. Grow the fuck up!
- “Chickens on the loose” was just pitiful.
- The previous being said, the HOH competition is finally a good one. It isn’t contingent on who can push the buzzer quickest or who can hold on the longest. One of the boys should win this; I’d put it between Lane, Brendon, or Hayden.
- I surprised Brendon didn’t try to follow her out the door like the lapdog he is.

Well, I'm sad that Rachel is gone but mostly for any physical reasons. I'm not sure I could listen to sound of her voice or her shouting about "her and her man" much more and I'm still dubious on her inteligence level condsidering how, well, dumb she acts.

Other than that, I don't have much. I will say I'm not a fan of these competitions that don't end when the show does so you don't find out who won them until the next episode.

Now I need new eye candy in the show ugh, who is left? Brittney? Ugh. Please, no.

The stuff with Brandon's ex and her mom was sort-of funny .

The editing was strange this episode. That fight in the backyard, they left out some of Brendan's worst lines! He told Britney, "why don't you take Nick's balls out of your purse and give them back." Nick is her fiance. That's when Britney came back with, "you're one to talk." And then at the end of the fight Brendan said, "I wonder how many chicks Nick has been banging while you're gone."

Also, they didn't show it, but the houseguests were talking about the veto meeting after it happened and apparently Brendan threw several insults at Ragan during it as well. So that's why he interjected like he did.

Also, the plan was always to send Rachel home this week. Everyone saw right through what Brendan was trying to do at the veto meeting, including Britney. They thought it was a lame attempt and were even more convinced that Rachel should be voted out. However, they continued to tell them all week long that Brendan was going home so that hopefully he would be off his game at the HOH. However, Hayden ended up informing them just before eviction.

The Brigade has actually been hoping that Brendan would win this HOH so that he would nominate Britney and Ragan and one of them would go home. They believe that those two are more of a threat to them than Brendan at this point and it looks like their main target is Ragan.

Brendan did indeed win HOH (yuck). Britney, Matt, and Ragan (and maybe Lane but not as likely) are who Brendan wants out, so it will be some combination of them up this week. And of course we know that Matt won't be going home with his diamond POV. So unless Ragan wins himself POV this week, he will probably be the one voted out. But who knows how things might change in the next few days.

Well, frack...we usually DVR it (hubby loathes commercials) so we don't think about it...here in Dallas, they decided that the Cowboys pre-season game was more important so it was pre-empted. We're sure it was probably on another channel but didn't know until it was too late. Now, I love me some football but we're from Florida so, Cowboys? ...not so much. :p

I'm soooooooooooooooooooo happy Rachel's ugly, skanky, loud, obnoxious ass is gone!

I will assume Brendan will be a giant asshole now...as if he wasn't before. He is such a moron.

We're gonna have to find it on On Demand or something because I want to see the goodbye messages.

Oh. she may be skanky, loud and obnoxious but ugly? Come on.

She's a huge butterface and looks a bit too botoxed and chubby in the face for a woman who's, like 25 but damn she's got a body on her that's near perfection.

I actually think she has a terrible body. Those fake boobs are way too big for the fact that she's shaped like a boy from the ribs down. If, and that's a big IF, she didn't have the fake boobs, I might would think her body was decent but the boobs make her look freakishly disproportionate...it's creepy. And she is DEFINITELY loud and obnoxious. I'm not sure I'd have been able to stay in that house with her...I can't stand girls like that...girls like that are the reason I mostly always had male friends.

And to be fair, for me, she started out as only mildly unattractive but I am swayed by attitude, A LOT, and she got uglier and uglier to me every week.

Blonds don't tend to do much for me, but I actually think Britney's cute...mostly in part because she's so funny and silly and well, not a giant bitch. Childish, sure, but she's entertaining and hilarious, not annoying, loud and skanky.

And, so that we're even...there's not much eye candy for this straight girl to look at either. None of those guys do much for me. The closest would be Lane...I guess I wouldn't kick him out of bed. But, no real eye candy this year. Jeff was the only eye candy last year, IMO.

ETA: My bad, you did say she's loud and obnoxious...I thought you were saying she wasn't when I first read it.

You can actually watch all of the episodes on the CBS website. I think tonight's should be posted tomorrow morning.

And I agree that Rachel is really not attractive. Her personality of course makes it much worse, but even before all that I thought she looked pretty gross. Boobs are way too big, it's just icky and makes her look deformed. The clothes she wears are just nasty.

Brendon's actually been pretty good for the first two hours of After Dark. He's still on about Rachel, but he's been laughing and talking about other things. I figured I'd be able to stand him without Rachel attached to him and so far so good.

They sure tried their best making Brendon and Rachel look good, didn't they? I hate when the editors make the show conform to the narrative they have decided on in advance regardless what actually happens.

eta: btw I hope Brandon nominates Matt (I'm afraid he's going after Ragan and Britney though) - just because I want to see his face when Matt pulls out the Diamond Veto and saves himself. :D

Am I the only one who thinks Matt's is going to pull the veto out for Ragan, if Ragan is nominated and Matt is not?

It seems like he was going for Lane and Britney because he thinks they are a pair, but then just before nominations he had a long talk with Britney that he basically said changed his mind...apparently he didn't put up Matt or Britney because they have fought hard in competitions and "deserve to be there." And I guess he feels that Lane and Ragan have been throwing competitions because they don't want the blood on their hands, and he doesn't respect that.

At least, that's my understanding of the situation.

However, since then, Ragan has won the power of veto and it will either be Britney or Matt up in his place. That was a $20,000 veto for Ragan!

And in other news, our favorite houseguest (), Rachel, has come back into the house for 24 hours. And Brendon is nowhere to be found. The feeds were out for about an hour and people think that during that time, Brendon may have opened Pandora's Box, letting Rachel into the house and taking him off somewhere.

As soon as she came back in she started insulting Ragan, asking him if he was a bitch because he's gay and insinuating that because he's gay he's not actually a man. Lovely comments! Ragan has been insulting her as well, mostly her appearance and her drama queen attitude.

Ragan, Britney, and Matt are have-nots and so Rachel decided to come outside and offer them the warm gooey cookies she is baking just to spite them. Ragan really went off on her! He basically told her she's a horrible person and will be ashamed to watch herself on TV when she gets home.
