And I really don't understand the problems Regan had with Rachel as it seemed she wasn't clashing much, at least not so obviously, with anyone else in the house. I partly think that Regan's "sexuality was threatened by her" which angered him or it's more likely the two of them just happened to have personalities that clashed heavily. They both could've done a lot of good just by shutting up and leaving the other alone, it seemed that at times they'd both go out of their way to piss the other off but Regan's continuing to harp on Rachel after she left the house ("OMG! They cloned Rachel and she's going to come in here and make our lives miserable!" he says, paraphrased, in the DR interviews) I think says a lot about him.
I get why Ragan felt the way he did, just because Rachel annoyed and pissed me off to no end, and I didn't even have to live with her. Their fights kind of make it look like a more isolated incident, but really the anger had been building in Ragan for quite some time. Besides Rachel being an inappropriate and irritating alcoholic who never shut up about Vegas, she was constantly being rude to people and starting fights "just for good TV" as she would say. Later she would go apologize as if nothing had happened. I think the thing that irritated me the most, watching Rachel on After Dark and reading everything that happened on the feeds, was the immaturity. She would not for a second admit that she could be wrong about anything. She was truly delusional - something would happen that pissed off other people, and if anyone brought it up she would say, "what? That never happened! You're a liar!" After this happening several times it was like, what reality is this person living in??? These things are on tape yet she vehemently denies that they occured, even in the diary room. Ragan was spot on when he said that everything about her was fake, and that she acted out for negative attention. And really, Ragan DID try very hard to avoid her at all costs, but Rachel would come back because she had to have the last word in every argument. I'm definitely on Ragan's side in this one. The other houseguests also couldn't stand Rachel for the same reasons, but they were better able to stuff it down and focus on the game. Ragan couldn't really hold it in any longer and I don't blame him.
