Big Brother 13: Dynamic Duos (Potential Spoilers)

I disagree a bit about Adam, I think he is firmly with Shelly, Jeff, and Jordan now, and will definitely vote to keep Rachel. He even made up a name for their alliance - NBSB, or Northern Boys and Southern Belles.

Kalia and Dani are really freaking out about the twist all of sudden and Dani brought up the possibility of Brendan coming back, so now they are considering voting Rachel out in the case that Brendan comes back they don't have both of them back in the house. Kalia and Dani think they have the votes of Shelly and Adam, so they are supposed to inform them sometime today of who they are evicting...of course, they don't know that there are already four votes to evict Lawon no matter what, so what they decide doesn't matter. I think the unsure votes tonight will be Dani and Porsche, who've said they are evicting Lawon so far, but still haven't made up their minds about whether it's better to get rid of Rachel.

SPOILERS BELOW FOR WEST COASTERS

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Who thinks Daniele is wishing she stuck it out with the veterans a little longer? She really has played a smart game if she was playing with semi-competent people. But Dominic and even more so Lawon and Kalia, have played the worst games of Big Brother ever. I think Lawon takes the crown for not only the stupidest play by a gay black man on BB, but also the stupidest move ever. Marcellas, please turn in the crown and exit stage right.

I would also like to point out that I have had three weeks of perfect eviction predictions right down to the individual votes.

Now HOH, a veteran will take it, possibly a renewed Rachel or even usually McUseless Jeff and up go Daniele and Kalia. Barring any unforeseen HOH upsets, I can see the eviction process falling:

Kalia
Daniele
Adam
Porsche
Shelly
Jeff
Brendon

With Jordan probably winning the game again. Shelly is the only newbie with any brain, but she is too tight with Jeff and Jordan to break from that.

Well that was a disappointing episode. The twist had so much awesome potential, I love it when they bring houseguests back, and then of course America votes for my least favorite houseguest of all time, lovely. I already had to turn off my feeds for the night because seeing Brendan back in the house disgusts me. I was really happy when he was evicted last week, and now it's like the last two weeks accomplished nothing. And I'm saying all of this as someone who is no fan of Dani or Kalia! They annoyed the hell out of me the past couple of weeks, but Brendan coming back? Really America? What a disappointment. I felt very crestfallen after the episode ended.

HOH has already been played tonight. Spoilers below....

The HOH competition involved some sort of counting of items. It came down to Porsche and Daniele and Daniele won. I've hated Dani for a while now, but I'm actually happy that she won, so that we can hopefully see Brendan walk right back through that door next Thursday. She has mentioned that her number one goal this week is to get him out, and that's my number one goal too. Ugh, as if Brendan and Rachel weren't arrogant and self-centered enough, now they think America loves them. Disgusting. Even Shelly made a comment tonight about how they are always getting rewarded for their immature and shitty behavior - couldn't agree more Shelly.

Brendan, America?!?!

Brendan?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

What the fuck is the matter with you?! We could have had Cassi, a gorgeous model back in the house, or Dominic and his mild showmance with Dani.

But, no, lets vote back in the jackass with the scabby knees and his domineering, misogynstic waya back into the house. Make him and Rachel just think that much more that America likes them. And what the show really needs is more scenes with them talking softly and lovey with one another or with Brendan trying to coax Rachel out of her latest mental breakdown.

^That sums up how I feel pretty nicely.

More shitty news to report (well to me at least). Brendan and Rachel made a secret alliance with Daniele, and she nominated Shelly and Adam. She is telling everyone that they are just pawns, and the plan is to backdoor Brendon. The real plan is to keep nominations the same and vote out Shelly. If one of them wins POV, it will probably be Jeff going up and out. Shelly is my favorite player in the house, so this week looks like it is going to absolutely suck for me.

I could deal with my favorite going, it happens, but to have Brendan back as well, and with him looking to be safe for a while longer? I feel sick to my stomach. I haven't even been watching the feeds and I doubt I will much this week, I just can't stand to look at him, and knowing that Shelly or Jeff will be gone. It seems like this happens every season, things are going great and then something happens that really just ruins the rest of the season for me. The only time I remember being really happy with a season and feeling like it didn't fuck up was season 11. People can argue that Jordan had no game skills, but it feels like the "good guy" never wins Big Brother (or Survivor for that matter), so it was very satisfying to finally have a nice, normal person win. If Brendan or Rachel win this season of Big Brother I'll feel absolutely disgusted by it.

This is the first year I've actually bought the live feeds and I don't think I'll do it again. When you watch these people for so many hours a day you get emotionally invested in the game, and it's just too big of a disappointment when something so shitty like this happens. I feel especially frustrated because I have been waiting four seasons for them to use the bringing back an evicted houseguest twist, and when they finally do it is my least favorite houseguest of all time that is brought back.

I feel like him being back will really ruin the season for me and it's just not worth it to get this worked up over a TV show, so I think I'll be shutting off the feeds for a while.

CBS is so full of shit. Not for one second do I believe Brendon legitimately won this. But I'm glad Dani got HOH.

I subscribed to Showtime to get AD this year and it's mostly been pretty boring so I've not watched it hardly at all.

Normally I watch After Dark as well instead of paying for feeds which I can't watch during the day at work anyway, but I'm actually glad I didn't do that this year. These people's schedule is quite annoying, and would be even worse if I were on the east coast. Here on Pacific time they sleep all morning (except Shelly and Adam who wake up early), get up sometime around 1 PM and just lay out by the pool for the rest of the afternoon. Then they eat and take their daily naps, which last about 3 or 4 hours. There may be an hour or so of game talk sprinkled in there. By the time After Dark comes on, they are just waking up and laying around doing nothing, or just got alcohol and are playing drinking games. As soon as midnight rolls around and After Dark is over, they really start their game talking. Most of them stay up very late, until about 5 AM, playing 20 questions with some game talk going on.

But I've got to say, anything is better than the nightly pool tournaments last year! That was so incredibly boring.

Well, it's also better than the group a few years ago who were really off their rockers and were doing things just shy of turning it into Big Brother: Skinamax.

Just wanted to say that that was some bizarre editing in tonight's episode...I'm not sure if they are trying to make Shelly sympathetic or look like a liar. I do think they unfairly edited that conversation Shelly had with Brendan and Rachel 11 days ago though...it wasn't a set in stone final 3 deal, it was more like they were throwing around different scenarios. Now, the rumor about Jeff and Jordan having a final 3 deal with Shelly is definitely true and Shelly admits that in the DR. They also didn't show the heated argument that Shelly and Rachel had in front of everyone else, where Rachel accused Shelly of saying that she was considering voting out Jordan two weeks ago. THAT is what pissed off Shelly so much and made her cry and call Rachel a liar.

They also left out seeing Dani's new HOH room, as well as some of the more awful things Brendan and Rachel said about Jeff when they were cutting their deal with Daniele. They offered up Jeff to be backdoored this week, and said that next week if one of them wins HOH, they will also try to backdoor Jeff.

I have been avoiding the feeds for the past couple of days, but I did see the results of the POV played yesterday. It was the one where as you drop out of the game you pick a box and get a prize or punishment that can then be stolen away from you when the next person drops out. Brendan, Rachel, and Porsche did not play. Here is the breakdown of who got what:

Kalia - Caribbean vacation
Jeff - $5000
Dani - Veto ticket (guarantees her to play in veto next week)
Jordan - Humilitard (humiliating unitard)
Shelly - 24 hour solitary confinement (Have-Not room with bread/water/camping toilet) and a phone call home
Adam - Veto

Here is Jordan looking absolutely adorkable in her humilitard:

So...

Um.

The producers of this show knows what "cornhole" can mean, right?

And saying things like "toss your bean bag in the cornhole" can, well, mean things that are not at all what they are talking about.

Yeah, when they started talking about the cornhole game on the live feeds a few weeks ago, this is what I thought. I was like, "WHY are they calling it that? Gross." I've never heard it called anything but simply a bean bag toss. But apparently, cornhole is a brand name of that game that is popular in the Midwest. I guess college students play it as a drinking game quite often, which seems silly to me, but then so does beer pong.

Being from the Midwest, I have to say ... I've only heard one definition of cornhole, and .. well, it's not something that I'd think would be repeated on television.

So tonight's vote...

Rachel - Shelly
Jeff - Brendan
Jordan - Brendan
Kalia - Brendan
Porsche - Brendan
Adam - Brendan

The only wild card here is how Jorff votes. Do they through Brendan votes to show Rachel they are trustworthy or do they give Shelly the vote and evict Brendan again. I think it's the latter. Either way, Brendan will go home tonight.

So glad to see that guy gone again, hopefully he is never seen on Big Brother again after this season's finale.

I have some good/bad news depending on who you're rooting for. Spoilers for HOH........

The HOH competition lasted about an hour and a half and Jeff won by quite a bit. Rachel was so pissy at him after the vote last night, but as soon as she saw Jeff was winning she started rooting him on and is now his new best friend. Transparent much?

Jeff got to choose the Have-Nots for the week and the winners are....Daniele, Kalia, and Porsche! They get hard boiled eggs and jalepenos this week. Porsche is actually pretty upbeat about the whole thing, Dani seems annoyed (especially because her birthday is this week), and Kalia has already started crying in the Have-Not room about it.

I've been watching some cartoons with the kids these past few days and when watching Witch Hazel, I keep being reminded of the big brother houseguest we all love to hate...

So what do you think, separated at birth?

If Danielle gets voted out on thursday I'm done with this season. No reason for me to torture myself by listening to all those smug hypocrites in there.

HoH, nominations, and PoV spoilers
Jeff won HoH. He put up Kalia and Portia, then won PoV and took Portia off, replacing her with ... you guessed it ... Dani.
