Big Brother 13: Dynamic Duos (Potential Spoilers)

I never understood the concept of an HoH winning the POV and then using it to pretty much undo their own decision making from just a couple of days ago.

If
Dani
goes then I'll be fairly upset, but not greatly. I'd much rather see one of the new people win or Jeff/Jordan.

^They will probably explain it somewhat on the next couple of shows, but here is Jeff's reasoning behind his nominations/POV use.

Many spoilers to follow....

Because Dani had the veto ticket, he knew she was definitely playing, so if he kept her off the block that meant seven people would be playing in veto, which he thought increased his chances of someone besides Dani winning the veto. He wanted to get out Dani this week all along, so if anyone else won veto they were to use it so she would be put up. The reason he didn't just put her up to begin with is that, this way he could tell her that he was sticking to their deal and if she really did win veto, she would never know that she would have been the replacement nominee. If she didn't win veto, she'd be up and gone anyway. So it was a little bit of insurance for next week in case she won the veto. In the event that she won and took Kalia off, they still had the votes to get rid of Porsche.

The plan is definitely to get rid of Dani, but for some reason Shelly is considering flipping to keep Dani. She has been kind of confusing on the feeds and none of us can figure out what her real purpose is. She goes to Jeff and Jordan and says she is definitely with them "a billion percent." Then she goes to Kalia and says she wants to keep her and create a final 4 of Porsche, Kalia, Shelly, and Adam. Then she goes to Dani and says she trusts her and is trying to flip Rachel and Adam to keep her. Then she goes to Adam and says that although she loves Jeff and Jordan, she'll never win in the final 3 with them, so it makes more sense to keep Dani and basically ride her coattails to the end. She then goes to Rachel and says she would be happy with a Jeff, Jordan, Shelly, and Rachel final 4, while she tells everyone else she wants Rachel out next.

Who knows what the hell she is really thinking! I'm not sure even she knows. Either way, her trying to convince Adam to keep Dani will not work, Adam is definitely voting her out. At this point I've accepted that Dani will be gone on Thursday, barring unforeseen circumstances. I was never a huge fan of her, but I do think she makes the show more enjoyable, and I wouldn't have minded if she won.

I'm more interested in the double eviction. All of the houseguests know that one is coming up, but for some reason they are all assuming that it will be the week after this Thursday's episode. They are going to be pretty surprised come Thursday night. Jeff will be upset because he can't play in the HOH, and he keeps saying how important it will be to win HOH during the double eviction. Him and Jordan are both very worried about it, and they never had a double eviction in their season so it will be a new experience for them as well. I have a feeling that if Jeff doesn't win that POV, he might be going home with Dani on Thursday.

Regardless of whether you are a Jeff or Dani fan, I do think that situation would really suck, because they are two strong personalities, and I feel that the house would be rather dull if they both leave. Hopefully we can get Kalia or Rachel gone in the double eviction, but I doubt it.

Dani going really isn't a big deal but she's about the only real eye-candy left that's either not rock-dumb (and Jordan is more cute than eye-candy) or makes me wish I could never hear again and actually un-hear everything she's ever said or makes me think of Davide Spade in drag with a horrible spray-tan after smoking a case of cigarettes.

But, again, Dani is an old-player so I've no problems with her leaving. Much rather see Rachel go, though.

Well darn, I have a feeling the rest of this season is going to be seriously lacking in excitement. I can't say I really care much for anyone that's left, they are all pretty "meh."

I do feel bad for Jordan, not only did Jeff leave so suddenly, but it was their former ally Shelly who sealed his fate. Jordan has been crying quite a bit and had a bit of a screaming match with Shelly last night. I think she is far more hurt by Shelly's betrayal than with the fact that Jeff is gone.

Spoilers for HOH....

It was played last night and Porsche was the winner. And WOW has her ego grown! Her, Kalia, and Shelly are literally skipping around the house talking about how awesome they are, and talking shit about Jordan and Rachel. I mean, everyone talks shit in the house so you come to expect it, but Shelly has been very hypocritical about the whole thing. She is one of those players that backstabs and lies, yet believes she has done no wrong and is appalled at the very mention of such dishonesty. Adam has started distancing himself from Jordan and Rachel and agreed to a final four deal with Shelly, Porsche, and Kalia.

Anyway, you would assume Porsche would just put up Jordan and Rachel, but for some bizarre reason she is actually considering putting up Adam and Rachel and when one of them wins the veto, putting Jordan up as a replacement. Do not ask me how this is a good plan, I have no idea. The chances of Jordan winning veto are slim, but I would love to see her win and take Rachel off, Shelly go up and be voted out. That would be hilarious.

By the way, it is completely strange to me how Shelly, Kalia, and Porsche are like the best of friends now. Shelly hated Porsche for the whole game, and Porsche and Shelly just tried to vote Kalia out! But Kalia doesn't even seem to mind...it is so weird.

Sad to see Jeff leave he's the only one left I could try to root for, his anti-gay rants withstanding, I guess now I'll say either Jordan or -fuck it- Adam.

A strange development has occurred. Spoilers ahead about a possible Pandora's Box.......

Porsche got to open Pandora's Box and the details of what happened are a little fuzzy, but the main things are that Porsche and possibly someone of her choosing (Kalia) got $5,000, but the house was put back into duos. I don't think that Porsche got to choose the duos. Rachel and Jordan are together, Adam and Shelly are together, and Kalia and Porsche are partnered up. It only lasts for this week and there is no golden key. It basically means the veto is used on a pair this week instead of an individual, which is good for Jordan and Rachel if they win it because they can take themselves down and be the deciding votes for either Shelly or Adam to go home. Kalia can't be nominated. Porsche at one point made it sound like whoever wins the veto has the choice between using the veto or taking $5,000, but it was very unclear.

I've been watching some cartoons with the kids these past few days and when watching Witch Hazel, I keep being reminded of the big brother houseguest we all love to hate...

So what do you think, separated at birth?

I am hoping that she gets voted out soon. I can't stand her.:scream:

Ok, so it's pretty obvious the producers of this show are rooting for the veterans. But ... why? They give us 40 minutes out of an hour show that's nothing but "here's scenes you didn't see before with our beloved Jeff." Then do they this Pandora's Box thing just so they could make sure that both Jordan and Witch Hazel stay in the house. Yes, I realize they can - and do - change the rules whenever they want, but come on!

Well, Porsche could have always chosen not to take Pandora's Box. She says now that she very much regrets it. I'm actually not that bothered by producer manipulation, because it really goes both ways most of the time. This twist does benefit Rachel and Jordan, but there was also a lot done in the game to try and benefit Daniele, so both "sides" of the house have gotten some help. Also, in this case at least it makes the game much more interesting, because if it had just been the four newbies picking off Jordan and Rachel for the rest of the season, that would have been rather boring. I don't mind them trying to even out the sides.

I mean, that's what made last season so boring (well, it's one reason), that the Brigade got through unchallenged. They were a bunch of extremely boring to watch frat guys, I even cancelled Showtime much earlier than usual because After Dark just got too dull. I honestly wouldn't have minded some production manipulation to try and give Britney or Ragan a special power or something.

And I have to say, no matter which side you're rooting for, last night's episode was really awesome. One of the best episodes of Big Brother I've ever seen! It was quite action-packed and dramatic. It also had it's high and low moments for both sides, so there was something to be sad about and cheer about for everyone. I didn't even mind the insertion of obvious post-eviction diary room sessions from Jeff, in fact I rather liked it, maybe it is something they should do with everyone who is evicted.

Anyway, the past couple of days have certainly been a rollercoaster in the Big Brother house, and that makes for some awesome TV!

^ Last night's ep was definitely one of the more intense episodes I can remember. Too bad Jordan didn't win HoH, but Porsche was really ruling on that snake challenge, and Jordan was still too emotionally frazzled to do that well, I think. Really hope Shelley is the next to go. I've grown to really dislike her.

Kalia
Daniele
Adam
Porsche
Shelly
Jeff
Brendon

So I got Daniele right, but that's it. My updated guesses in eviction order:

Shelly
Kalia
Jordan
Rachel

Yes I'm predicting a Adam/Porsche final. Shelly is toast this week. Porsche can't play again and Kalia would need to win HOH to be safe. Sooner or later, people will realize Jordan has won this game before and can win it again and take her out. I think Porsche takes the final HOH and takes Adam.

I really liked Shelly, but she didn't play getting caught well. If she had kept her cool and taken two seconds to think, she may have been able to get out of it with her skin intact. Now she is almost guaranteed to go next.

And seriously what is with all the crying? You got betrayed, now go out there and use that negative energy to win HOH. Jeez.

I really don't think CBS and the producers are rooting for the veterans. Really, there are too many variables for them to completely plan it all the way. Who could have predicted Lawon being so stupid?

Anyone who has sat down with him for more than 5 minutes?

HOH and Pandora's Box spoilers!!

Rachel won the HOH competition, and it sounds like Adam and Jordan tied for second with 15 donuts, and Kalia was third. She has already said to Jordan that she's planning on nominating Kalia and Porsche, no surprise there. Whichever one doesn't win veto will go home. Ideally, at this point, Jordan, Rachel, and Adam want Kalia to go home because she is better at quiz competitions.

There was a Pandora's Box about an hour ago! From what they've said, it sounds like Rachel's card said "Celebrity Shopping Spree" and had a picture of Tori Spelling. She thought maybe it would be for wedding dresses since Tori and her husband are wedding planners. Instead, she opened it and Jessie was inside! Her shopping spree included pictures, candles, t-shirts, plates, and other items with Jessie's face on them. The rest of the house got a clothes shopping spree with Tori Spelling! Adam is on top of the world right now, says this is the best day of his life!

Well, it was neat to see them resurrect Tori Spelling's pale, coke-filled corpse to Adam's delight. I think something went wrong in the process, however, her face and makeup made her look like Harley Quinn and they used a touch too much bleach in her hair.

Seriously, Adam show same damn respect. Are you a 14 year old girl living in 1993? Geeking out like that over Tori Fucking Spelling? And, ugh, Big Brother. Did we HAVE to have Jessie back? Oh well, at least he was in there to annoy Rachel, but I could've done without him being in the banana hammock.

Well, the feeds have been off for about 24 hours now, and won't come back until after the airing of tonight's show. Last night's After Dark was pre-taped footage from earlier in the day. That's because they taped the eviction of Kalia (come on, we all know that's what will happen) and HOH competition on Tuesday afternoon. Today they already did nominations (which are essentially meaningless this week) and POV competition. So, as soon as the episode is over and feeds are back tonight, we should know who was evicted, who won HOH, who was nominated, and who won POV. Just in time for tommorrow night's live eviction! It's been a busy few days in the Big Brother house.

The current rumors circulating the internets (leaked from those attending the taping of the show) is that the HOH winner is...

The one and only heavy metal teddy bear, Adam. That makes a lot of sense based on what the competition was. I will just say that the fortune teller has come to life recently, and the houseguests had to memorize some sayings. Adam was doing really well at memorizing everything, so questions based on that stuff is something I'm sure he'd do great at. Apparently Jordan came in a very close second, with Porsche lagging behind.

EVICTION/HOH SPOILERS...

I won't miss Kalia and her rambling.

She thought she was this great game player and rambled about how horrible Adam was for not wanting to make a game move. Sure she won two HOH's, but one of them evicted her ally in Lawon and brought back an enemy in Brendon and the second, sure she got rid of Jeff, but when you put up two of the strongest people in the game in a fast forward, that was pretty much a guarantee. As for her hate of Adam, she rode Daniele's coattails, whereas he made the choice best for him, most of his choices being based on his game survival.

As for Adam's noms, I'd put up Porsche and Jordan. Rachel will take a huge offense to being nominated, where Jordan will be able to see it as someone has to go up. All four play for veto, so it's a crapshoot there.
