Big Brother 13: Dynamic Duos (Potential Spoilers)

I actually have more sympathy for Rachel this year than Brendan. From watching the feeds, he has become somewhat of a control freak and is constantly pulling Rachel aside to tell her what she should and should not do. It's really sad to watch actually...sometimes Rachel stands up to him but eventually she gives in and lets him walk all over her. He basically hates the fact that she is a party girl and an emotional person, he wants to completely change her. Not one day has gone by that they haven't had a fight where they start bringing up the same shit...it is more dramatic than a soap opera.

It was fun to watch how the newbies scattered like cochroaches in the light with the eviction of Keith.

But at least they have figured out how to play the game. Partners or no partners, each individual needs to make decisions and cut deals for themselves, not because it benefits the partner. This isn't like Season 6 where they were best friends and there was a cash incentive for both to make it to the end.

The showdown between Rachel and Cassi was hilarious. I can't wait for Cassi to send Rachel packing. Yes I'm cheering for the veterans, but Rachel was never a fan favorite and was probably brought back because Jesse and Ronnie were too busy.

Dominic and Daniele. Really? Really?

^Some spoilers about POV and Rachel/Cassi related to what you've said....

I too would love to see Cassi send Rachel packing, but unfortunately it looks like it is going to be the other way around. Dominic won the POV and is going to take his team off the block. Although Jordan and Jeff wish that they could keep Cassi around because they feel like they might be able to use her to their advantage, Rachel, Daniele, and Brendan really dislike Cassi and definitely want her gone. Her and Shelly are set to be nominated and Cassi voted out. Cassi and Rachel got in an argument last night where Cassi said something like, "I was really pulling for you last season, I thought the way people treated you was bullshit. But now I get it, you are a catty girl. You are an ugly person inside." Rachel then cried to Jordan, Daniele, and Brendan for two hours about it. I'm actually shocked that Rachel didn't run after Cassi screaming. Rachel and Brendan basically have a personal vendetta against Cassi for reasons that are still unclear, so the chance of Cassi staying this week is very slim.

^ I'm torn on the Cassi thing.

Her biggest mistake was feeling too comfortable too soon. Week one she helped form the (now defunct) Regulators Alliance. She thought she had the numbers, and made the mistake of leading the 'evict-the-veterans' charge.

I think Keith's, and to a lesser degree - Dom's, arrogance rubbed off on her, and she may go home because of it.

But I think the main (petty and unfortunate) reason Cassi might be going home is because Rachel and Dani are threatened as hell by Cassi's good looks.

All you need to do is listen to Rachel ask Brendon, "Do you think she's had a nose job? Do you think she's had botox?" to see Rachel's cattiness on full display.

And Dani can deny it all she likes, but she clearly has a flirtation going on with Dominic. And Daniele does not like Cassi because Cassi is the only competition to Dom's affections.

It is unfortunate. Rachel also seems to think that Cassi has some secret strategy to flirt with all the guys in the house to get them on her side so they will vote out all the girls. Last week she kept worrying about how Cassi was spending more time with Jeff and Brendan than with Jordan and Rachel. Rachel is so damn insecure.

It's kind of funny and sad at the same time how Rachel and Brendan are always convinced that everyone is evil and scheming up plots to tear them down. After the fight last night Rachel claimed that it was a strategy of Cassi's, that Cassi purposely targeted Rachel's personal weaknesses to make her cry and feel bad about herself. They really love to play the victim. They don't seem to understand that not everybody has to be best friends, some people just don't click, but that doesn't mean you hate each other and are enemies. They are so into themselves and think that everything revolves around them, the good and the bad. Ahh I can't stand them!

I've came back around to really liking Rachel again, braying laugh and all, and think she's in a pretty shitty relationship with Brendan who pretty much treats her like crap.

^^Trekker, I can't disagree with you more. Brendon doesn't treat her like crap; he is just too much of a doorknob to realize he's with probably the most socially awkward girl ever. Rachel is the most self centered, me me me person ever. If she ever got it through her thick skull that not everything in the universe revolves around her, she may, just maybe be palatable.

This was a total 180 eviction from last week. Where last week I was so happy Keith got the boot (though Porsche has let it gone to her head and turned into Rachel 2.0), I didn't want to see either Cassi or Shelley go. Cassi did get screwed by the Rachel/Daniele/Porsche triad of cattiness.

Speaking of Daniele, excuse me while I gouge my eyes out. I was okay with her being back because she was bringing Dick with her. But with him gone, she's just as annoying as she was in her own season. And Dominic is turning into her Nick this year.

I think that both of you are right. Rachel is incredibly self-centered and immature. But Brendon is just as bad - he is very controlling, to the point of telling Rachel who she is allowed to talk to in the house without him there. He tells her pretty much every day that she is not good at strategy and should let him do all the thinking and the work because she sucks at it. He is constantly putting her down, it is really sad to watch. I am so sick of seeing them fight every single day, and each time the fight gets worse. They both have issues.

The Rachel and Brendon train wreck hour continues. I will be happy when Rachel is evicted because maybe, hopefully, mercifully, she will vanish from the public eye forever. Hopefully some day, Brendon will wake up and realize he can do better. Sure, he's the probably the last doctor I'd ever want to see, but he's got to realize he's better than her.

As much as I hate to admit it, Daniele is playing the best game. Getting Brenchel and Jorff to fight each other is the smartest plan, considering the newbies have no chance of winning any competition with the exception of Dominic, who is in Daniele's back pocket.

Up until recently I thought so to, but...

Dani's been somewhat reckless in her attempt to turn the power couples against each other. The veterans have become aware of her scheming, and they're not pleased. Not only is she likely to lose her boytoy Dom this week, Jeff's leading the charge to get her out next.

My how quickly the game changes!

Brenchel, thank you for waking up to Daniele. As much as I hate them, I hate Daniele more. She is the one half of the Donato duo I wouldn't mind never seeing again.

During the veto comp, I can see why is Porsche is in the business she is. God she looked great in that bikini, but when she opened her mouth it was like nails on a chalkboard.

Dominic really screwed himself in this game. He put all his eggs in with "The Regulators" and will now follow Keith and Cassi out the door. My prediction for votes:

Daniele - Adam
Jeff - Dominic
Jordan - Dominic
Brendon - Dominic
Shelly - Dominic
Porsche - Dominic
Lawon - Dominic
Kalia - Dominic

Lawon and Kalia are the only wild cards this week, but it won't be enough to save Dominic. Next week, we will have to suffer through self righteous Daniele talking about how stupid Brenchel was. And in a weird parallel universe, I'll be on the side of Brenchel.

Today was a pretty interesting day. There was the infamous "house meeting" this afternoon, which included everyone yelling at everyone for everything. It lasted a couple of hours. It was pretty good, I'm sure it will be on tomorrow's episode. I could go into the details but I'd rather watch the episode tomorrow and let you guys know what the editing left out.

And I agree that Dom will be going home.

I don't get why you guys dislike Danielle so much. She seems like a pleasant enough person, is nice to look at (;)); and sure she's scheming a lot, but that's what she's supposed to do, no?

I don't hate her, but I never really liked her on her first season and I am starting to dislike her again now. Not because of her gameplay - I don't mind that at all. She's just irritating...I probably wouldn't feel that way if I only watched the CBS show because you don't see enough of her there, but on the feeds I just can't stand watching her. She is so whiny and self-entitled, and she just talks like she is a child sometimes.

Lately I have become aggravated with her because when she is having serious strategy talks she often does this whisper that is impossible to hear, like she mouths the words but doesn't actually say them, but also covers her mouth from camera view. Some believe that she does this on purpose to piss off feed viewers because she really hates them. I don't know if I believe that, but I feel like at the very least she should respect the fact that she is on a TV show where the whole purpose is for us to hear what she's talking about. The show wouldn't even exist without us fans, and she doesn't always seem too grateful about that fact...she disses fans quite a bit.

I dislike Daniele because she is a spoiled whiny brat. Granted, not everyone can be Jordan, but Daniele never deserved to play this game again. Hell, I would've preferred to have Natalie again.

I've been ignoring this season until now...wow shit has blown up! I think I've started watching when things start to become interesting now.

Dani won the HOH competition after less than two hours up there (why does everyone suck at endurance the past few seasons?).

I think we all saw this coming from a mile away...it's the week when major shifts of power happen and Daniele seems to be the leader of the other side of the house now. I would be sad to see Jeff or Jordan go this week because I was hoping that they would at least make it to jury, but it looks like Dani's main targets are Brendon and Rachel. I would love to see one (well, both) of them gone, but I guess we'll see what happens. Either way, I can't stand Kalia any longer. She is acting like she is Daniele's best friend now, and was having a big celebration with her after Dani won the HOH. It's like she can't see that Dani basically ignored her for three weeks and is now only using her because she has no one else to work with. It's kind of sad.

Hell, I would've preferred to have Natalie again.

Now, that's going too far!

Agreed!

I want to spit on the ground every time that name comes up.

The shift in power should make for an interesting week. I don't see a senairo in which one of the power couples aren't broken up. My money is on Rachel biteing the dust, unless either she or Brendon wins POV and uses it to take her off the block.
