Ben Browder in DW Western episode...

So one US Cult TV icon last year and another this year. (I suspect BBC America might be having a hand in these decisions.)

They're shooting in the samep place where "Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade" was shot BTW.

If they're doing stories set in America, then yes, please, cast American actors. Or at least British actors who, like Mark Sheppard, have lived in the US long enough to know what an American accent actually sounds like.

Now that is cool. Ironically, the SG-1 two-parter that introduced Browder featured props from the 96 telemovie mixed in with Ancient stuff.

No, that has no relevance at all. I just felt like mentioning it. But still, Ben Browder is cool, it'll be awesome to see him on Doctor Who.

Would have preferred Nathan Fillion, but Browder will do...

He's got steady employment.

If BBC America are suggesting names I wouldn't be surprised if Summer Glau turned up at some point. I suspect Felicia Day's too much like Karen Gillan (superficially at least) to get a look in, though.

Unless she were playing Amy's previously unmentioned sister who for some reason speaks with a completely different accent.

Way Cool.

I wonder if he'll be typical wisecracking Ben Browder, or show us a completely different character? I've liked always John Crichton and Cameron Mitchell, so, I'd have no problem with seeinga similar portrayal in Doctor Who

This is good, personally I'd have prefered most of the other SG1 alumni ahead of him but I guess he'll make a better cowboy than Shanks would...

A little off-topic, but I knew 2 Dutch brothers. The older one had been in the US a while longer and had a German sounding accent. The younger one had more of a Swedish sounding accent.

This is from an American POV, but very different sounding.

Happy to see him getting work. :techman:

Ben Browder, Arther Darvill, John Barrowman, Matt Smith, all at the same time ...

I'll be in my bunk. Again.
m who says John Barrowman is involved, he just booked himself a US pilot.

wamdue................................................the point.

he's saying it in the context of a fantasy orgy. like if i were to say; "Karen Gillan, Georgia Moffett, Sophia Myles, Eve Myles and Alex Kingston at once.

I'll be in my bunk"

See?
