Honestly, should have happened years ago. Not hating on the guy, but he was not as sharp as he had once been. Sportsnet tried to make him a play by play guy for a few years and while he wasn't brutal, he was always the better colour/analyst, especially more so than his partner in those years, Pat Tabler. Since Dan Shulman returned full time and Buck moved back over to the analyst seat, it has felt like a balanced broadcast.Buck Martinez, 77, retires as Blue Jays broadcaster.
