Avengers Infinity War (and beyond) anticipation thread

Yeah, as much as I like CBR I this isn't the first time they've gotten a bit carried away with rumors like this.

I've never really had that much of a problem with CBR. They're usually pretty good about saying when the stuff they're reporting is a rumor.

Well, it did come from the time listed on AMC's site, so it's not like they just pulled it out of their ass, and the article did specifically state that it wasn't officially confirmed yet.

Lots of good stuff from Entertainment Weekly. (There is some minor spoilage.)

A meme come true.

Well, almost. The meme I'm referring to is the meme where Rocket meets Bucky and says, "I'm gonna need that guy's arm!"

According to the linked report, the two indeed meet in IF and have the following exchange...

...Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, the former Winter Soldier now known to his Wakandan friends as “White Wolf,” is laying waste to Outriders while Rocket — in the form of Sean Gunn, wielding a puppet stand-in — distracts him with some offers he can easily refuse.

“How much for the gun?” the furry dealmaker asks, admiring the firepower clutched by Bucky’s mechanical limb.

“It’s not for sale.”
“Okay, how much for the arm? The arm?” Rocket persists. (He has a weird thing about prosthetics.)
:guffaw:

Just a question, with Infinity War actually out in just over 6 weeks and still no full trailer released yet... anyone else plan on trying to avoid it and just not watching it? I feel trailers give so much away nowadays, I'm actually liking how kinda little I feel I know about this movie so far, so that when I actually see it I can be very nicely surprised by most of it.
I did this for The Last Jedi and didn't watch any of the trailers and think I enjoyed it way more than I would have done otherwise.

Like, I'm going to see Infinity War, it's not like I need to a longer trailer to convince me. Most of are us are gonna be the same. I know it takes a bit of willpower but just wondering if anyone else will do the same?

Ummm...we have had a full trailer...unless two plus minutes doesn't count as a full trailer anymore?

Otherwise, I agree with you about trailers revealing too much. I'm already beginning to cut myself off on most news reports on the film other than broad strokes.

^ Well it was the first trailer, pretty much every film now (especially the big ones) have at least two.
I presume you mean this one btw

It's a very "for the fans" trailer. If you weren't up on your Marvel movies, you'd have no idea what the hell that was, what was going on, or any idea whatsoever what the plot is. And I know as I've seen it with non-fan friends who said as such. So maybe the second trailer may have some kind of cohesion to it.
