Did we really? I honestly don't remember. That was sooooo long ago.

Edit: Having looked up the release date, it's entirely possible I didn't even see The First Avenger in theaters because the ship I was stationed on at the time was on deployment.

Ah, that's right. I always forget about that scene because it's just the same scene in The Avengers.

So there's in-house precedent. Hopefully they'll do it again.

If it ends on a cliffhanger then I bet we get a teaser at the end. Educating people that do not now it is already in production. In other words that it is happening for sure weather or not Avenger 3 does well or not.

Considering how often they've talked about it not really being 'part 1' and 'part 2', I don't think it will end on any more of a cliffhanger than any other MCU movie. And the teaser idea wouldn't really educate anyone, anyway. Tons of movies have had sequel teasers without the sequel ever actually happening. Those who keep up will either know or find out, those who don't will either be informed by those who do or will never notice until the trailers come out.

Nice. No shocking new footage, but it was still a cool little spot.

Well. That's a big fat tease. Tell us already! :scream: :p

Here's hoping Patrick Stewart is one of them. I don't know why he comes to mind but I think that would be great.

It's pretty ironic this popped up now, because it just dawned on me a day or two ago that we keep hearing about the Black Order, but we haven't heard anything about who's voicing them. I was actually thinking about asking about them here, but I guess I don't have to now.

There's been a lot of speculation about where the Soul Gem is, including the possibility of it being the vibranium mound in Wakanda (hence the major battle seen in the trailer). However, there's a new theory that we actually see it in a different form in the trailer: the orange planet. The article notes that there's precedent for this idea in the comics, but I'm more reminded of the Doctor Who serial The Pirate Planet where one of the pieces of the Key to Time is a compressed planet in disguise.

Apparently they have announced the actors voicing The Black Order members and I missed it. I was reading an article on CBR revealing a new villains poster for Infinity War, and they mentioned that Mark Hamill, Whoopi Goldberg, Bill Nighy and Vin Diesel will be voicing them. This is the first I've heard these names connected to those characters. It doesn't say which actor is voicing which character.

Whoa, that's the first I've read that news, too, and I haven't seen it mentioned at io9 or A.V. Club, both of whom would've reported it. Maybe it's something that came out today and Comic Book Resources already reported it, which is why they say it's something "we already know about."

Assuming this is true, that's a great set of actors voicing them and fulfills the the speculation that the characters are voiced by big-name actors.

After a quick search, I can't find any confirmation on this claim and the only other website that mentions them in these roles is in a speculation article from MCU Exchange a couple of weeks ago. Presumably that's where CBR got that information and reported it as news.

I don't usually read CBR, but I would say overzealous sloppiness.
