Avengers Infinity War (and beyond) anticipation thread

So every actor who's been in a Marvel film is in this but those two?

You guys really don't want to question why those two aren't in "Infinity Wars, Part 1", do you? I think I now understand. Unfortunately.

Well . . . any part of my enjoyment in this film has been slightly diminished, unless they appear in the movie after all.

Well enlighten me. I've no information as to why they aren't in the film.

YOU are the ONLY one saying that they "aren't in the movie". The fact that their names haven't been announced yet when we are LESS THAN TWO WEEKS into production means nothing, and you are jumping to baseless, absurd conclusions based upon nothing.

You really need to take a moment here, because to us it feels like you are obsessing about this just a little too much.
Yeah, I agree. It's kinda odd. Then again, they're still making these movies. We get people joining the cast of movies well movies are still in production. Hell, sometimes it happens when a movie is almost done, but a rewrite needs a new character.

You really are sounding just a tad too fanatical here....

You know where that is going...

Why don't you ask Kevin Fiege or the movie's directors, the Russo brothers? If I knew the answer, I wouldn't have bothered to bring up the matter.

Let me get this straight. The movie will start production in less than two weeks and both Mackie and Cheadle's names have not appeared on the list of characters? And I'm supposed to buy your argument that I'm jumping to conclusions based on "nothing"? Yeah right.

I don't have a way to ask them. You seemed to think there was a reason, so I'm asking you.

Who's making this list?

For someone who isn't in the movie, Anthony Mackie sure hyped for it...
With the Infinity War, I think what Marvel has planned is going to change the scope of what superhero movies can be.

I’m really excited for people to see it! Civil War is kind of the kick-off to the next Phase of Marvel, the next reality that we’re in. What’s really cool is that people are buying into it!

It’s great to see the addition of new characters and people accepting them as well as they accepted the older characters.

I think it's a safe assumption that all of the major players in the MCU will be in these movies, one way or another. I mean, that's the whole point, no?
Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Quake and/or the Defenders get cameos aswell, even if it's something like slightly out of focus news footage or something.

Falcon and War Machine are likely to have diminished roles in the first half. I'll bet their scenes will be short and easier to film, pushing them down the filming order after the principle scenes.

They won't be called up to do them until the main cast are finished with some of the bigger set pieces. Their rolecall can be delayed for that, or they're already signed up and the studio don't feel like announcing what will be more of a cameo until closer to their appearance on set.

We still don't know enough about the movie to come to any absolute conclusions about anything to do with it.
