The show really hasn't been the same since Siskel died. Roeper was okay but it really has been a shadow of its former self for quite some time.

Agreed. I like Roeper and everything, but what I enjoyed most about the show was the differing viewpoints (not to mention the occasional bickering) that you would get with the combo of Siskel & Ebert. Roeper just seemed to agree with Ebert a lot more than he disagreed with him.

I would sometimes see Roeper disagree with Ebert, but then Roger would steamroll right over him. It wasn't a fair fight the way it was with Siskel and Ebert.
