Astra's ENT action figures in action

Any Doctor Who fans around here? I am rewatching it at the moment to get back into the mood for the 60th anniversary.
I always love fandom crossovers so here we go! K-9! Fun fact: Trip's chair is from "Stargate Atlantis", and Connor Trinneer also starred in that show.

Today I did this! Found a nice place for a sit-down! This is nearby my workplace, where I go for walks in the lunch break. Today I took Jon (and Porthos) with me. Love that bench, I've had that for many years, finally it gets an outing again.

~ I've loved going through this thread and catching up with everything you've done since April (when I was last here). Your work on the figures and props, the scene set-ups and storylines/speech are just amazing! (Apologies for the 'like' spamming!)
I've picked this scene out of Archer & Porthos because I think it looks particularly realistic - the pose, the camera angle, and the plants (the Acer(?) leaves on the left could be Rheum palmatum and the flowers could be Hydrangeas) all work together so well. I love it!

Oh, and if you feel the need to do any more scenes with Malcolm and Trip ( :luvlove:), I wouldn't complain... :D

Thank you very much! I enjoyed the Like spam! Sounds like you had a fun afternoon.
If you like, I also opened similar threads in the Voyager and in the TOS forums!

I am not very knowledged in botanics so I have no idea what plant this is. It's near my workplace and I go there for a lunch time break walk. When I saw it I immediately saw the possibilities so I took Jon to work one day ;) It's definitely one of my favorites as well.

I'll see what I can do for you! You never know where the muse takes me. Today it took me to do this:

Ha ha haaa! I thought they'd get their tongues stuck to the lolly, but scrolling down to see Phlox's ridiculously long tongue was much funnier :rommie:
And I like to imagine that Shran is thinking something along the lines of "get a room" - but far ruder

I'm supposed to be getting ready for bed, but I feel the need to check out at least your Voyager action figures first (crosses fingers and hopes for some Chakotay action).

There will be plenty of Chakotay action as even though I love everyone in this show, he eneded up being my favorite. But everyone gets their turn in shenanigans (a word I learnt from a friend who also bought figures because of me and started doing pictures)

You were not the only one saying that with the tongues getting stuck! On Twitter I also got comments that they look like guys who lick a lamp post in winter.

So I couldn't help making this:

But then I got even more comments and speculation about how to free them, so I had to make a whole new part.
I LOVE inspiring comments like this that bring me new pictures! So please, everyone, keep them coming, you never know what may happen.

Say what you want, but them Enterprise boys are stylish!

I just realized I never showed my new sets. I got this space set from the beginning picture and also some woods, they're amazing! And I also got this dinner table.

The figures are roughly scale 1/10 so usual dollhouse furniture in scale 1/12 is way too small for them to sit comfortably. So I was happy to have found this dinner table.

Brilliant! Trip's over the top rescue with the pick axe and chainsaw made me laugh, and is that a pineapple flavoured ice-cream he has at the end? Should have brough Malcolm along! :D

Stylish is right! I was drooling over Trip’s caped greatcoat! T’Pol is also adorable in her fluffy vest, wisely offering hot tea (and perpetually having her wisdom be ignored sigh).

My friend and I brainstormed, how they could be rescued, but whatever she suggested I didn't have in miniature. So I just went to look what I DID have and found the pick axe and chainsaw ;) And so the scene was set.

Great idea with the pineapple ice-cream! I didn't think that far, I only made sure the blue guy got the blue cone and the pink-skin the pink ;)

That woollen handknitten vest was made by my mother for her dolls when she was a child so it has history!
Yeah. Men. Right on to the next ice-cream. They don't know what's good for them!

"Fhinkfhin! Fhell him to fhtop!" :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:
The "Fhinkfhin" was in one of the comments by my friends and just simply too good to not use it!

If you look at the insert of Pilot Precise V5 pens, they look like 1950’s lasers;

Great for greebles, antennas, etc.
Dr. Shrinker’s ray emitter was closest.

I use pliers over a sink to get them out when the ink reservoir runs dry.

I have seen highlighters with clear versions.

Those Pilot versions would look great with those figures.
Interesting! I'm afraid I am not familiar with Dr. Shrinker though.
Are you doing anything in this regard? If not you should, you have a great creative mind and looking at things to use as other things is very important!

Also, in case you didn't realize, the ice cream are textmarkers too! I love that it is both cute and useful. I had to buy it.

lol that' scene with the ice cream is funny. Thanks for post it.

Thank you!

That was very funny and creative. I like to see more adventures in Andoria.
Thanks! I'll have to see what the muse says next. Something tells me Hawaiian shirts are getting an outing next...

But today Trip wants to show off his tool boxes!

The green one is a pencil sharpener.

The first red one is from Wrestling figures. The other tools are molded, you cannot take them out.

The second red one came with Neca's "The Engineer" figure.

The third red one came with Xander. It cannot be opened.

That's really clever how you create all these props for your pictures. Trip certainly has a large tool box collection.

A friend had commented on my other pictures, that at least Trip was not wearing a Hawaiian shirt. She really should know me better, that of course I also have a Hawaiian shirt if necessary ;) And the more I thought about it, the more figures I found. So this story happened today.

The figures of Jack and Daniel used to be Spike and Angel. I just switched heads and painted their arms more brown.

Guys with questionable fashion sense ~in space~!
LOL!

Am I allowed to smuggle in another Pride action? I just love this guy so much and I don't know if there would be enough interest for a dedicated thread...

I was watching the NCIS New Orleans episode 2x21 "Collateral Damage" and when we came to this port scene, I realized that I have all the things at home to recreate it. Barrels, wire-mesh fence, container boxes...

I left my watching right in the middle and went to set up this scene on my kitchen table.

First I had only made the pictures of him jumping over the fence, then I watched on and saw where he jumped over the gap and down at the guy. I left that for the weekend as if was a bit fiddly hanging him on fishing line.

So for several days when I came home I was greeted with this sight ;)

And here you can see the fishing line.

And some screenshots for comparison!

That last one is not of Scott Bakula, it is clearly the stuntman. Still I was very happy he got so much action to do in this episode!
