Any "poor" superheroes

They did an Elseworlds back in 2003 that had the destitute Batman scenario - "The Golden Streets of Gotham". It was a period piece set in the early 1900s, but still pretty interesting.

As for other poor heroes, I would list DC's Ragman and Marvel's D-man (both of whom have literally been homeless and living on the street).

Actually, in the current "Big Time" arc, Pete finally scores a good paying job.

There was a period back in the '90s when Mary Jane Watson-Parker was quite successful and rich as a supermodel and soap-opera actress, so she and her then-husband Peter moved on up to a dee-luxe apartment in the sky, as some would put it.
