Any "poor" superheroes

If I remember correctly, Ollie Queen lost his fortune for quite some time. Therefore, does Green Arrow qualifie?

How does he afford all of his gadget arrows? Does he just fight crime when he isn't working at Walmart? He needs to have money just to survive unless he steals from the crooks he beats the hell out of.

He uses real ones instead. They are much cheaper and much more lethal.

True, most of the time, when Ollie was poor, they also had him use real arrows instead of gadget ones. But before Mike Grell introduced the lethal arrows to the series (in a modern sense, as GA had already used normal arrows at the beginning of his career), Denny O'Neil had him use gadget arrows. You could argue that back then they didn't care about how he could afford it. Thinking about it, he maybe just had the bill send to the Justice League.

These days he's living in the park . . . really!

Daredevil?

Isn't Murdock a lawyer?
Currently a homeless bum.

I guess I'm really out of the loop. I guess the economy has hit the heroes as well.

I remember Spawn being homeless a lot in the cartoon and The Maxx was another character that suffered from homelessness living in a cardboard box at certain points in his series.

Even back in the old days, Matt was never a high-powered corporate attorney or whatever. He was usually working out of a crummy storefront in Hell's Kitchen . . . .

Certainly, he never made Bruce Wayne money--but who does?

And technically, all the X-Men save Warren Worthington...

Professor Xavier is quite rich, evidently from an inheritance. His seemingly unlimited coffers apparently provide for his students' livelihood as well as their crimefighting tech. (And if his funds ever got depleted, he could probably replenish them by patenting and selling some of the tech he got from the Shi'ar...)
Or by "asking" Halliburton execs for a modest donation... :p

Wow, this is one depressing thread!

Betsy Braddock-Psylocke is also from a wealthy family.
Her family used to be members of the British sect. of the Hellfire Club.
Is Emma Frost still wealthy?

How about Luke Cage - Powerman?? And how about Cloak and Dagger? Dagger at least was a homeless runaway, if memory serves.
Yep, them and Iron-Fist all broke as hell.

After 18, not -- right? I know nothing about wards.
You don't have too, just how a trust fund works.

I believe you can set up a trust fund where the recipient can recieve the fund right away or set it where it can only be accessed after a certain age.

Yeah he had a trust fund.

Plus he received a large insurance settlement from his parent's death that Bruce invested for him. Once he turned 18 (or possibly 21) he had a large sum of money waiting for him. He's no where near as rich as Bruce but is probably very wealthy.

Although these days he probably has complete access to the Wayne fortune.
