No it isn't, if she's written fine.No. Having Carrie Fisher-era Leia appearing in any future SW projects is a terrible idea.

Please elaborate. Is it a respect for the dead thing, or something else? No. Having Carrie Fisher-era Leia appearing in any future SW projects is a terrible idea.
She was a big part of the Rebellion so it would make perfect sense for her to show up at some if we continue getting stories set in the years leading up to or during the Original Trilogy.No. Having Carrie Fisher-era Leia appearing in any future SW projects is a terrible idea.
Same.I fully admit I watch with subtitles on.
Nope.So it's not just me then?
If they were to ever have a Leia from that point, just recast her instead of using a dead eyed CG creation wearing a dead woman's face. It never looks right. Please elaborate. Is it a respect for the dead thing, or something else?
It's the sound mixes, they suck. "Wide dynamic range" is the anodyne descriptor. Once upon a time audio levels would be equalized but that time is not now.I feel like the rule is, whatever sound system a show is optimized for... it isn't mine.
Also, I believe that actors mumble more than they used to. It's as if clear enunciation is discouraged in favor of, I don't know, attempting to represent more natural-sounding speech patterns.
That's what I typically do, too.I tend to rewind slightly and put cc on if I didn't catch something.
