1. There was no need to start a new topic that is nothing more than your reply to your other topic.

2. We get it. You don’t like Discovery.
Do we get it? I don't think it has been made perfectly clear that Star Trek DSC is hated yet... ;)

There are all kinds of reasons for me not to to like this, but Ali took up a significant portion of my childhood. My dad was a big fan and every bout we watched on TV was better than Christmas. I mean, unlike the the holiday get-togethers, the fighting stayed on the screen.

I know what you mean. With my holiday get-togethers, or with any get-togethers where everyone's there, certain parts of my family stay as far away from other parts as possible. It's too bad.

But on another note: That's a fucking fight! Ali keeps landing the blows on Foreman, who's looking pretty messed up at about where I'm at. Don't tell me how it ends! I'm getting into it.

Most able to punch? Hmm, this might be the least punchy Trek so far, so not much to go on.

I think Burnham, because though she may not be the strongest, she will be damn sure you go down. Living as a human with Vulcan bullies will do that to you. I imagine she inner monologues her fights like RDJ in Sherlock Holmes 2009.

I don't know what people were thinking when they were telling me both the casting and the characters of this show are great (I guess it's normal if they are regulars of this subforum). This last episode has one of the most obnoxious characters in the history of television; sure she wasn't totally annoying in the mini episode but at least there she was mute most of the time.
So it's a female character, obnoxious, had few lines in the mini episode.

Back on topic: I love Po. She brings a youthful energy that meshes well with Tilly. She brings an arrogance (due to her Queen status) that contrasts with other leaders like Pike and Georgiou. And she brings a theoretical aptitude which may spark fun scenes with Reno and Stamets.

I am hoping that she's intended to be a new regular next season. With a smaller crew complement expected for next season, it would be good to have a dynamic shake up.
