Also, I've noticed that a lot of game shows don't translate well to streaming as well. About Last Night, which was a reboot of the 70's game show Tattletales, was on HBO Max and did not last long. HBO Max premiered it on February 10, 2022, and then was removed from HBO Max in August 2022.
That is interesting. With game shows, being filmed live-to-tape, it creates a certain kinetic energy that makes you want to watch it when broadcast, and the streaming likely removes the immediacy that makes it so addictive to watch. There's also the fact that a large portion of the demographic likely wouldn't be into streaming given their age or location they're watching from. Like if someone watches from a nursing residence.
