Not really, sometimes it's about as ugly as a wad of used toilet paper. But it's a necessary thing.Free speech is a beautiful thing.

Granted, problem is that trailer makes the hate easier.
Rick and Morty is a sci-fi show? I didn't know that. I may have to check it out now. Can I assume you recommend it?We are in the age of narcissism where everyone believes that they are ultimately right and everyone should do/think/act as they say because they're the greatest. "Social" media will be the ultimate downfall of human civilisation, or at least civility.
It's alright not to like things and explain rational behind it, that doesn't mean you're right, likewise for someone who comes out in favour of the same thing. Taste and preference are highly subjective and individualistic, doesn't make it wrong until it strays into personal attacks and harassment.
I'm looking forward to it, it's a new take on looking at the action from the people we normally view as extras (TNG's "Lower Decks" was a great episode), and the style does remind me of Rick and Morty which does tell some batshit crazy sci-fi stories and doesn't treat its audience like idiots.
Are we talking about haters or the Critical Drinker? Personally, it's just a cartoon meant to make people laugh. Either it'll be funny or lame. If lame, there are other shows to watch.

This is a no-effort show
I'll stick with the Orville tyvm
I will tune in, but the animation is garbage, and the story doesn't look any better. This is a no-effort show, meant for pulling in quick numbers. I'll stick with the Orville tyvm
The animation style is obviously an area where personal tastes and preferences will affect how you feel about it. Personally, I would have appreciated an animation style that's more handmade and looks less like many of the other contemporary shows. I'm so glad they went with 2D animation, though, and not the route Star Wars has taken with its CG-animated shows.I will tune in, but the animation is garbage, and the story doesn't look any better. This cannot be overstated. It's a ridiculous supposition to state that somehow this is ruining Star Trek.Given how many shows are in Trek's franchise belt, LD isn't going to "REKD THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE,
Based upon what? A brief trailer? This is a bullshit premise that basically insults those who work on the show by declaring they are not putting in the effort in a production. This is a no-effort show, meant for pulling in quick numbers.
He says "I guess the objective here is to target kids...", and then goes on to tell us why it's not appropriate for kids. However, there is no reason for him to think that its intended target is kids. There are plenty of younger adults who like this style of humor and enjoy this type of animated TV show.
Magic! I'm sure the answer is forthcoming...Cutouts dont bother me, but I do wonder how they get from the saucer to engineering, considering the nacelles are supposed to be too hot to travel through while the ship is running.
Youtubers only exist because people click on their videos. By posting this guy’s vid here, all you’ve done is give him more exposure.

It's one thing not to like it-it's another thing to insult people's work without seeing even one episode.
Ridiculous.
And they never said it was for kids, it's skewed towards adults and they're aiming for a TV-14 raiting.
Indeed. It amazes how that association has occurred.I hadn't heard either way (and the teaser pretty quickly shows it's not for kids, LOL), and people do assume (not wrongly) that cartoons are for kids... even though many, for several decades, were adult-themed...
Depends on your sense of humour.Rick and Morty is a sci-fi show? I didn't know that. I may have to check it out now. Can I assume you recommend it?
