I think the budget for this movie is around $65-70 million, just like the previous Predator movie.

Walter Hill: "lookit I got 50 pages of where Ripley... would be... now"

"That's nice, grandpa, but you need to get back in bed and for god's sake please put some clothes on"

imagine a aliens and predators movies reboot series where predators and aliens mix breed with humans and also where aliens and or predators give birth to humans while aliens and or predators give birth to humans

its somethings you would only read about on regular fan fiction sites and of coruse on erotic fan fiction sites

Why would I want to imagine that?

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought of. If it had been made, and it was close, it would be a sequel to Aliens.

I get Terminator flashbacks when studios start considering ignoring sequels.

If that's the plan, the script better be airtight.
The Blomkamp sequel was originally going to ignore everything after Aliens, but before the project fell apart it sounded like it was going to blend his idea for a sequel with one set after Alien Resurrection. Thus Alien 5 would likely deal with the Ripley clone. Not sure how Hicks and Newt would figure into that but more cloning is probably one option.

This headline is misleading, the movie hasn't actually been rated yet. I read that article the other day, and Tratchenber said he's hoping that they will get a PG-13 rating since all of the violence, blood, and gore will be with aliens and robots, none of whom have red. So it sounds like it's not necessarily going to be much tamer than the other movies, it's just that they might be more lenient since none of the violence is being committed against humans.

I would also cry over Resurrection because Resurrection Ripley is my favorite Ripley. (I'm also biased because I'm nostalgic because Resurrection was THE movie for me back in the 90s.)
