Perhaps because you only have a narrow frame of reference? I recommend you go watch Flash Gordon, Seven Samurai, and Conan The Barbarian.the whales goes to warp??

Crone? I feel like theres a Discworld line that's appropriate here.f course there would be three witch-mothers. The Maid, the Maiden and . . . the Other One.
Kannan had them on the Phantom, there was a clip from Rebels S1 or 2, with Ahsoka and Ezra watching the holograms. So Hera gave them to Ahsoka after Ezra purgilled Thrawn, presumably.I wondered that myself. One possibility that occurs to me is that she got them from R2 when she visited Luke, since it's a fair bet Anakin had R2 make the original recordings, and he never seems to delete anything.
Failing that; maybe this T-6 was the specific one assigned to Anakin & Ahsoka (or I should say the only one left that he didn't crash) and Ahsoka *somehow* recovered it at some point in the last 30 years? That seems like a stretch though.
You're thinking of this scene. Despite what people are saying, I don't think this is meant to be part of the collection of recordings he made for Ahsoka. For starters it's on Kanan's holocron, which is the holocron Depa Billaba was using to train him on Kaller. That plus his temple dojo garb and the fact Ezra said he's watched it many times to practice his own sabre techniques means this is something he recorded for the instruction of all the padawans & initiates. The ones for Ahsoka would have been made specifically for her, as evidenced by his dialogue, whereas this one sounds more formal and generic.Crone? They weren't siblings in the original series? I haven't watched it since it originally aired, so my memories are very vauge, but I thought they had always been siblings.
It can go either way. He made a whole set of recordings, unlikely it was all at the same time. So it could be a mix of more casual instruction meant for Ahsoka and other Jedi trainers, and some meant to be added to the archive. You're thinking of this scene. Sure, but you're missing the point; it's unlikely that Ahsoka got/retrieved copies of those personal recordings made specifically for her from Depa's holocron, because why would Depa ever have them in the first place? It can go either way. Star Wars has always been fantasy.the whales goes to warp??

What about Sabine's Howler? I'd say he's given a pretty good performance so far. He's giving the best performance in the entire show. The only one else who's really doing anything remotely interesting is Ray Stevenson, but even he is held back by the limited material.
Dawson is finally starting to wake up a bit after sleepwalking through the show (and all her pre-Ahsoka appearances.)
And the less said about Winstead's appallingly bad performance, the better.
I've been assuming the follow up witll be Ahsoka Season 2.I wonder what the follow on to "Ahsoka" will be? Aside from "Skeleton Crew", which may or may not be related to Thrawn in any way, all we know about is the eventual Filoni movie. Could there be a follow up "Rebels" sequel series with Hera and the Ghost crew once they probably get Ezra back? Assuming we don't lose Ezra or Sabine next episode. Or would they go back to animation to explore more of this era with Thrawn until the time they are ready for the movie? There is also the supposedly already written fourth season of The Mandalorian to go in there.
Assuming the Screen Actors Guild Strike ends in the near future.
I love both of those, so that must be why I'm loving this so far.the whales goes to warp??

Now that you mention it, the "no relation" thing does sound familiar. That is kind of a big change to make then. There was a running gag where after they would introduce themselves they would say "No Relation". But the reason everyone is weirded out is that Babs always had a crush on Buster, and by the end of the show he is returning her affection. So it's weird they are siblings now.
Indeed. This series has leaned heavily in to the mysticism that Star Wars would play with in a fantasy way.I love both of those, so that must be why I'm loving this so far.
Pretty sure she just walked off with nothing but the clothes on her back, and it's pretty evident that she had no contact with the order until the Siege of Mandalore. Secondly; pretty sure Jedi don't really have any possessions besides their lightsaber; everything else technically belongs to the Order. Thirdly; even if she had possessions AND they forwarded them on to . . . somewhere (pretty sure she was homeless until she ran into Trace) why would they send Jedi training material to someone they kicked out of the Order, then refused to return when they offered? Windu is a little dense, but I think even he can take the hint.
While on the other hand she met back up with R2 about a year and a half later . . .
