Couldn't the Jedi Temple have forwarded Ahsoka's personal belongings to any storage facility or address designated by her where should could recover it later?
Pretty sure she just walked off with nothing but the clothes on her back, and it's pretty evident that she had no contact with the order until the Siege of Mandalore. Secondly; pretty sure Jedi don't really have any possessions besides their lightsaber; everything else technically belongs to the Order. Thirdly; even if she had possessions AND they forwarded them on to . . . somewhere (pretty sure she was homeless until she ran into Trace) why would they send Jedi training material to someone they kicked out of the Order, then refused to return when they offered? Windu is a little dense, but I think even he can take the hint. While on the other hand she met back up with R2 about a year and a half later . . .
What about Sabine's Howler? I'd say he's given a pretty good performance so far. I've been assuming the follow up witll be Ahsoka Season 2. I love both of those, so that must be why I'm loving this so far. Now that you mention it, the "no relation" thing does sound familiar. That is kind of a big change to make then.
Indeed. This series has leaned heavily in to the mysticism that Star Wars would play with in a fantasy way. It's so enjoyable. And I'm starting to feel the attitude of "must watch Star Wars " is becoming a miserable proposition.
The Official Site has posted a neat little article highlighting some of the easter eggs in Sabine's lookout, along with an accompanying video. The only ones I hadn't clocked already is the Morai painting (because it was never onscreen), and the hair clip. Though I did make note of it at the time since it seemed rather conspicuous but I didn't recognise where it was from. Still it's nice to get some BtS imagery from this show! Makes me hopeful that they'll be doing a visual guide of some description for this show. Maybe lump it in with 'Acolyte' as a Jedi themed one, like this upcoming book is lumping Andor & Kenobi together as a 'Dawn of the Rebellion' guide. I know there was a Mando season 1 guide in the making before it was cancelled, but if this new abridged & compiled approach sells well it'll get another go as a Mando/BoBF guide.
so w/ episode 8 coming next wk., do we have anything for the remaining 2023? and anything in the first half of 2024?
Read online that this one was pushed to at least 2Q 2024, but I read it on the internet so it must be true.
Yeah, it's been reported by third parties to have been pushed back, but nothing official. Wouldn't surprise me either way since on the one hand; the strike(s), but on the other hand; I can see Disney wanting to hold onto that Holiday release window for the Spielbergesque family adventure romp in a galaxy far far away. We'll see whenever the teaser trailer drops in a month or three, but my gut tells me that they'll push it back for the simple reason that the probably feel like they *need* Jude Law to help promote it since (so far as we know) the show is all original characters (no, that one pirate from Mando doesn't count) and they're probably afraid people won't be interested without something in particular to drawn them in. So unless the SAG-AFTRA strike is over very soon, so Law can get off the picket line and onto the press tour circuit, I think the smart money is on Q1'24 at the earliest.
To be honest, Skeleton Crew hasn't really been on my radar. I said the same thing about Andor, though, and wound up loving it. I'll probably wait until a few reviews roll in on this one before deciding whether to take the plunge. The Acolyte is another one I haven't really been tracking. I know just about zero about it.
I am just curious. What is Thrawn gonna do once he returns back to the home galaxy ? He seem to have only one warship, that needs maintenance badly and the ship is full of stormtroopers who still cannot shoot straight. The New Republic could easily handle him.
I think the idea is that the various Remnant factions rally around him and he provides the strategery.
This. And it could be that the NR doesn't have to worry about Thrawn for a bit as he brings any reluctant Imperial warlords to heel.
