Spoilers AHSOKA series [Spoiler Discussion]

Also, I just have to say that even reading the word "Mortis" pisses me off. I really hope that stuff isn't making its way into live action, although it will be funny seeing the few casual SW fans that bothered to get through Ahsoka season 1 completely jump ship if the show tries to bring up that literal gods control the force (seriously, midichlorians are nowhere near as stupid as the literal Force gods).
For one thing, the writer of the Mortis arc said that they are not gods.
Also - they died!

Despite my disinterest in Clone Wars, I thoroughly enjoyed the Mortis episodes and when I read about Force gods I had to watch the episodes.

So, yeah, it's going to take more than a supposedly "out of character" Ahsoka (never mind people changing due trauma) and Force gods to make me disinterested in this show.
The whole "Ahsoka isn't acting like herself" argument never held water anyway. One need only look at how she was characterised in Rebels; sure there's a glimmer of Snips still in there, but by and large she was very reserved and stoic. Even that all was before she faced Vader and had to confront the truth of what Anakin had become.
It starts even earlier than that though; she changed quite drastically over the course of Clone Wars itself. Before even the season 5 finale; from the Mortis arc, to 'Padawan Lost'/'Wookiee Hunt', 'A Friend In Need', the Youngling arc, even her tertiary role in the 'Deception' arc demonstrated a marked evolution of her character at every stage, even to the point of her being concerned, and even actively protective of Anakin after believing they'd lost Obi-Wan. By the time we get to the series finale and TotJ, she's already much more Fulcrum than Snips.

As usual this also shows that some people are just not paying attention. Lest we ignore that Luke underwent a similar character shift just within the original trilogy, and that's on a much shorter timescale. The whiney, impatient, mopey farm boy is a galaxy away from the calm, focused almost-Jedi that confidently strode into Jabba's Palace unarmed. Hell, he even has a noticeable maturation just over the course of the first movie; he'd grown up a fair bit by the time he got to Yavin 4.

This 100%.

It was the Mortis crap that finished me with Clone Wars. I wasn't realy enjoying it up to that point, but that ? Life's too short.

I'm really enjoying Ahsoka - let's hope they don't go there.

as the literal Force gods

The Mortis beings aren't gods according to their creator, and they also all died.

Well, the Sister may have reincarnated into a bird.

because Ahsoka herself is so tremendously out of character,
She's not out of character, she changed over the 20+ years since Clone Wars. She also acted different from her Clone Wars self in Rebels.

I wasn't the same person i was 20 years ago, nobody is. Especially after undergoing traumatic and/or life changing events like she did.

Have they confirmed we won't be seeing Baylan again?
And even they don't recast or do a CGI version Baylan, I doubt they're going to just drop the stuff related to The Ones just because Ray Stevenson died. I'm sure they'll find a way to tie it into one of the character's storyline, it's to big of a set up to just drop. Didn't Shin take off to go look for Baylan last time we saw her? They just have her pick up where Baylan left off.
Modern Star Wars has already proven that medium is no barrier to story. We've already had camera actors portray their characters in animation and visa versa. We've have literary characters appearing on screen. Star Wars doesn't segregate it's characters; it's all one story. 'Ahsoka' didn't start that, George Lucas did when he created Clone Wars.
They've also had movie actors voice their characters in video games, including Harrison Ford and Forest Whitaker.

It looked like she was going to lead the raiders, but we don't know what if anything she plans to do with them.

And Billy Dee Williams and Anthony Daniels.

Whoever comes across the statue finds Baylan's cloak and lightsaber at its feet. His story is done.

It's a Force mystery !

That's all that is needed.

Last I heard they were still in a "wait and see" holding pattern. To my knowledge, nothing further has been said.
That's not to say that the decision (whatever it may be) hasn't been made already; they're just not talking about it yet, and likely won't for quite some time. either way; How they do decide how to deal with Baylan is going to depend on what story they're going to tell, and there's no telling exactly what that will be yet.

After Acolyte, Skeleton Crew and Andor Season 2....what is next in the pipeline? Have they started filming anything?

I don't think anything has been officially announced after those, but I'm pretty sure we should be getting new seasons for The Mandalorian and Ahsoka at some point at some point.

Ahsoka has been renewed for season 2, I believe. It's not confirmed yet but I get the feeling The Mandalorian is done now that they're making The Mandalorian & Grogu.

There's absolutely no proof for this, but I wouldn't be surprised there was another animated series in the works.

If you check the OP on the "All Things STAR WARS" news thread, I maintain a mostly up-to-date list of upcoming projects.

In a nutshell; while Favreau has said he has it all written; reports on Mando season 4 are a little confused, so I'd hold off on saying whether or not that's happening before or after the movie (if at all!)

Beyond that, the only streaming project we know for sure is going into production soon is Ahsoka Season 2 (rumours say they start rolling this autumn, but that's unconfirmed.) Everything else is all either rumour, or projects that have been announced to be in development, but little-to-no concrete details.
'Visions: Volume 3' seems like a safe bet; an announcement may come soon-ish, but I wouldn't expect a release date sooner than summer or autumn next year.
Assumptions and rumours abound about another serialised animated series to replace 'Bad Batch', but assumption and rumours is all they are for now. With no SW Celebration until next year in Japan, the most likely time we'll be hearing about new projects will be either SDCC or NYCC, and even that isn't guaranteed.

When is D23? I think they've also made some announcements there the last few years.
