Agents of Shield - Season 4

Ugh,

the "evil Director" plot is really irritaiting. I hated when they did it the first time (with the evil idiot played by Edward james Olmos), and I don't know if I feel like dealing with it for a whole season. What would be the harm of just having Coulson revealed as alive? He's not hiding, and all his real enemies all know/knew he's alive so his fake death isn't protecting anyone, not even himself. Its not like the Avengers will break up because they learn he's alive.

Anyway, the last season got very disappointing as it went by, but I'll still watch, at least for the first few episodes of next season.

Nothing I've read says that we're getting an evil director, it sounds to me like he just doesn't always see eye to eye with Coulson and his team. People can disagree and not get along with the heroes without being evil.
I don't remember the arc real well since I haven't watched it in a while, but I didn't think Edward James Olmos' Gonzales was "evil", he just didn't agree with Coulson & Co.
EDIT:
Marvel has posted a Getting to Know Ghost Rider article about Robbie Reyes. It will be interesting to see what, if any, of this is brought over into AoS.

Great news, I loved her on Galavant.

:bolian:And Joshua Sasse (Galavant) is one of the leads in The CW's No Tomorrow.

I don't know how this story with O'Hara will play out. But I get the feeling that many are reacting to him negatively, because Coulson is no longer director.

It's not just that, the aticle linked to a while back also says that he wants them to kill Daisy. So it sounds like he's probably going to be taking a much more aggressive approach to things than Coulson has.

We've got our first look at non-Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes. Looks like they're going for a very comics accurate costume.
I wonder what their version of his Ghost Rider look will be.

That link literally brings me to this:

This is certainly a weird direction to go with Ghost Rider, although I do like his car

Sorry, that was from the TV theme song thread. I forgot to double check my link.
Here's the correct link.

Pumped for Ghost Rider. I loved the Robbie Reyes version in his, sadly short-lived, run. Makes me wonder how much of the comic backstory they'll be keeping, and what/how they'll change things up.

From what I've heard, it's a safe bet they're keeping Gabe, the younger brother. Will they keep Eli, and his background?

Also interesting to note for those who don't know, Robbie's comic book origin featured Calvin Zabo, aka Mr. Hyde. Or, I suppose more accurately, some of the drugs that made him the man he was. Figure Agents of SHIELD could borrow some of that to tie Robbie to Daisy if they wanted to.

Now we just need to see the show's take on the Ghost Rider itself. So far, so good. But budgets are budgets, and I don't want to get my hopes up for something awesome on TV. Either way, I can't wait to see what the new cast members bring to the table!

That looks like Johnny Blaze's original circus costume. Weird-looking skull, though.

We knew at the end of season 3 that Coulson wasn't going to be the director anymore. I'm more interested in the identity of the new director. A character with that much history with Marvel that hasn't been tapped yet? Speculation?
Over at the marvel Cinematic Universe Podcast the speculation has turned to some guy named Dynamic Man from 40s books. He does't seem to fit into the supernatural Ghost Rider side of things but the LMD side which was teased. But if LMDs are going to be new and not something Tony Stark teased that would mean the Koeing brothers are just identical triplets, or more
