Agents of Shield - Season 4

There's been some violent stuff on AoS from the get-go, and the post-Winter Soldier tone really hasn't been much lighter than the Netflix shows. Also, AoS is moving to an hour later time slot.
Indeed, we saw Scorch burn hot Doctor Debbie to ashes in the fifth episode while the show was still on at 8.
... As a non-comics guy, I'm vaguely intrigued by this. The show's made good use of mostly cool, calculating villains, but a change of pace and tone is certainly warranted at this point. I just hope this doesn't augur much messing around with Biblical mythology, which I mostly find profoundly dull. Not that I'm concerned we'll actually see a Yahweh anytime soon, but the less the MCU deals with monotheism apart from characters' beliefs, the better, I say.
I've read ( I think was Jed Whedon who said it) that the show's turn towards the mystical is because of the upcoming release of Dr. Strange.

I don't think Ghost Rider is interesting enough for his own show, so guest-starring on another is great. This show has always needed more proper super-powered people.

I suppose that's true, but the grit of Ghost Rider, while not thematically the same as the rest of the Netflix shows, feels like it would be a good match.
He would seem to be a great fit for Netflix, buuuut ...

This show has always needed more proper super-powered people.
Of all the complaints about AOS over the past few years, I think most would agree that this is it's greatest weakness. "Hey folks, you know all those MCU heroes that you love? Well here's a show with none of them." (Sure, that's the whole point of the show, but that doesn't make Iron Man's absence any less glaring.)

While AOS has certainly had it's share of super powers over the first 3 seasons, none of them have been terribly high-profile. Ghost Rider is certainly going to be the biggest name to make a major appearance on this show.

I hope it gets some viewers' attention, and some of them come back.

So, what are the odds that ABC or Marvel might want to try to get a Ghost Rider show out of this?

I wonder if they'll stick with Robbie Reyes' very different Ghost Rider from the comics, or go with something closer to what the other comic (and movie) versions look like?

Not to mention Ian Quinn and Franklin Hall. I want to see our heroes go up against Graviton!

The problem with that is that even though he's not well known and therefore a "C" lister, he is one of the most powerful characters in the MU and easily an Avengers level threat. That doesn't mean in the MCU he can't be beaten, though. I really was disappointed with the MCU version of Blackout, I thought he was too easy to get rid of.

Clark Gregg was asked if there would be a Netflix crossover this year and he answered honestly... Corporate said no.

They said they're allowed to use more Inhuman characters now.... I'm wondering if the movie is officially off the table and they can use the Royal Family now.
