Interesting speculation on Mockingbird's part, on Bakshi and Whitehall.

Her and Reinhardt/Whitehall...hmm...interesting, their conversation about his possibly helping out. Beginning of HYDRA's infiltration of SHIELD...?
Interesting: Skye's dad knows more about the Obelisk than Reinhardt/Whitehall...and can get them into the city...?

I think the woman who could touch the obelisk might be Skye's mom.
Yeah, I'm thinking that, too. Or else, just a random Inhuman or whatever that Reinhardt/Whitehall used to get young again.

Nice dynamic between Mockingbird and Bakshi! AND...the little thing about HYDRA agents we remember from Captain America: The First Avenger.
Hmm...so Grant Ward BELIEVED Christian made him do it...but the Senator's got a point about him, unable to reconcile his villainous deeds with his desire to be the hero.
And...the truth comes out. A VERY interesting sequence, at that. (And we're supposed to buy that they're all okay, now...? And, how do we know the senator's telling the truth, not just saying it to appease Grant?)
And in the end: Holy...CRAP!!!
Trip! And "I can help...I'm a Doctor."

I think you're overthinking it. They don't have the right to use characters from the X-Men franchise. That line is obviously blurry on the lines but includes characters primarily associated with them. Wanda and Pietro are apparently equally associated with the Avengers, so they can be shared by both. On the other hand, William Stryker or Bolivar Trask aren't mutants at all but they still can't use them because they're clearly X-Men characters. Someone like Typhoid Mary was created for Daredevil, was used primarily with Daredevil, had a brief crossover with the X-Men where it was stated she's a mutant, but she's not an X-Men character she's a Daredevil character. So Marvel can use her, Fox cannot.
BTW, anyone who complains about Hydra not being Nazi enough can shut up after tonight. Reinhardt is genuinely creepy.

Doubtful. I think you'd better watch the footage with your own eyes.
Looks like Agent 33 to me as well, she has the same damage to her face that May left.
Another great episode with a lot of revelations... and more Captain America movie references than you can shake a stick at!
I'm incredibly curious where this story is going; we're clearly talking about Attilan and the Inhumans at this point... but we already know there's an Inhuman movie coming out in 2018. So there's no way they can introduce or show any of the characters because they're going to be played by someone famous 4 years from now! So what are they going to find? A dead abandoned city? Or just meet third string characters who say Black Bolt and Medusa are somewhere else at the moment?

^Didnt you see Man of Steel? Activating ancient technology(the temple) always sets off the distress beacon calling the owners home. I am sure Coulson will at the end of the episode turn from a computer screen, face the team and say we only have four years to get ready for their return.
Yeah...and I'm deeply concerned the "confession" Ward planted will result in a destruction of Sen. Ward's credibility, as far as redeeming SHIELD's name goes.
Of course...how honest was he? Question for everyone: anyone think his confession to Ward was honest...or was he just saying it to get him to stop?
AND--is Ward re-joining HYDRA for real (and if so, what was delivering Bakshi to Coulson all about)? Or is he just prepping up for delivering more "gifts" to Coulson?
I kind of got the feeling that Ward was infiltrating Hydra, not joining them. It also feels like, since Skye's Dad seems to have joined up with Whitehall to kill him, Skye's Dad and Ward might be natural allies, in somethings at least. They're both obsessed with Skye, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them team up and/or meet with Skye near the end of the season.
