^Technically old enough to be her granddad!
And, don't forget, one of the reasons Roger Moore left the franchise was because in A View to a Kill he found out he was older than his female costar / love interest's mother.
Do you mean A View to a Kill?
Yes, thank you. Sorry, brain fart.
That's ok, I thought there was a secret Bond film I wasn't aware of (actually that'd be great!)
Judi Dench. Perhaps she faked her death. Also if you want bring back Famke Jamsen as Onna Topp I think was her name. We already have seen a cool Female baddie so lets see her again up against Craig's, Bond.
Her full name was Xenia Onnatopp.
Perhaps he could go steady with the same person for once; so in the next movie he's in a committed relationship with Dr. Madeleine Swann, Lea Seydoux's character from SPECTRE (and not have her die like Vesper Lynd).
Or Tracy from On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Bond is one character whose bachelorhood is guaranteed by plot death.
And then in the next movie he seeks revenge, and promptly gets involved with someone else who is conveniently gone by the time of whatever movie follows that.
Bond can never be in a long term romance because it sort of goes against him basically being a swinger. All the women have to find him desirable and if they ever gender switch the role then it means all the guys will have to be into her. I mean without this and without the gadgets and over the top villian plots you might as well be doing a generic action movie.
The only way I could see Bond married is if his wife was a fellow 00 agent like himself.
And have they ever shown a female 00 agent? On the rare occasion Bond teams up that I can think of, it has been with a male 00, or an agent, male or female, from a foreign agency, or just some random ass Bond Girl tied to the situation at hand.
Actually, Moneypenny from the Craig films was introduced as Bond's backup agent. I think it was in Skyfall. I don't know if she was a 00, but she was a female agent partnered with Bond.
And then she became a secretary.
The World Is Not Enough.
Wikipedia claims that one of the nine 00s seated in Thunderball was female according to behind-the-scenes photos, but it was not unambiguously evident on screen AFAIK, and I cannot confirm this.
Okay, any Bond movie that didn't suck out loud and co star Denise Richards have a female 00 agent?
I never said different, but she did start out an agent.
My Bond is weak, but logically a magnificent murderer can't be "downgraded" to secretary. Especially if that magnificent murderer never learnt how to use Excel and Word.
Money Penny just pretends to be a Secretary.
She is a Body Guard.
It's possible that she cannot touch type.
Someone else is doing all her secretarial work remotely, so that it look's like Moneypenny's work station is being used.
I wonder if (apparently) killing another 00 agent counts towards the two kills needed to become a 00 agent
