And what's with the woman with the Seven Of Nine eyewear, who looks in, says Amy is dreaming, and disappears?

Ref. "Partners in Crime", "The Poison Sky" and "Midnight".

I caught it too - it's probably something we'll find out about in Episode 13. Or Series 7.

Meanwhile, that ending has left me stunned! One right out of the park, as far as I'm concerned.

Question: Prisoner Zero, in 2010, talks about the Silence, long after 1969. What's that about?

More thoughts as they occur.
Well you said it yourself. The Silence is running. They have probably left Earth and are, without us really knowing, being hunted by humanity. Probably some more timey wimey explanations too.

Why did the Silent in the TARDIS say to Amy, "You will bring the Silence"?
It meant to say "You are the Doctor. You will bring the Awesome.", but it fluffed its line because it was overawed.

(Edit: I kind of wish that I had avoided spoilers re the episode ending. That's a jaw-dropper right there!)

"It's all right. It's quite all right. I'm dying. But I can fix that. It's easy, really. Look..."
HOLY SHIT.

You must be a bit ahead of me, haven't seen that yet.

As confusing as this ep is with all the jumping around, you can't help but get sucked into it. It's either brilliant or totally drug-induced.

So Guenter Wendt was really the Doctor and Richard Nixon was also a companion?

So did the Silence actually originate on Earth, or did they come here at the dawn of time, before the human race began?

Yeah, sorry about that. Internet and all, I leapt ahead of the rest of the US thanks to the UK.

It sounded like Amy was telling Rory that she loved him...but then it really was the Doctor...? I didn't catch that (my son was making noise)...

Great...*ANOTHER* race that has been influencing human history all along! How many is that for Who now? 4? 5?

:wtf:

Does this have something to do with the Time-Crack and rebooting the Universe?

Yes. The Silence were (supposedly) the ones who blew up the TARDIS.

Is there like no one else watching the BBCA broacast? I feel like I'm talking to myself.

I couldn't wait 5 hours so... uh... I found another way (though I am watching it again now).

Unknown, probably not native though. They have been here for a long time. Makes me wonder if they also influenced the Silruians.
