To be fair he has been trying to make that show for 15 years now.

He's not doing it to make a quick buck, he's doing it because he loves the character.

 

Please no Captain Worf. We've seen enough of that character on two shows and several movies. Love the fact Picard is back!

 

They should do a Captain Worf and Captain Sulu team-up show.......

If Picard is back, the others are certainly possible. I could see this being Ambassador Picard, with guest shots from Ambassador Worf, Admiral Janeway, whatever Kira and Garak are up to...

I'd even go for a Khan series but please cast him with an ethnically correct actor.

 

Although, to be fair, Montalban was great in the part . . .

 

What if one of the shows is Star Trek: Terrak Nor featuring the occupation of the Bajorans on the station.

 

Could say the same about Picard.

Definitely the highlight of the episode and film.

 

Captain Sulu is actually one show I would still be completely down for. And John Cho is actually a great lead who wouldn't be at all too big/expensive for tv.

 

Plus Dax (in whichever host's body), Odo, Quark, The Doctor, and Seven of Nine.

 

personally, don't really want to see this concept used as just 'fill in every possible blank 30 seconds in Trek history'. Explore other concepts, or move forward, or whatever, but don't want to see the timeline beaten to death. Leave some room to breathe

 

I wonder how closely this CBS Trek plan follows JJ Abrams' idea for a multimedia Trek franchise back in 2013? Kurtzman was one of Abrams' collaborators back then, I'm sure they must have discussed it...
