You should create these with polls, or edit them in somehow.
I like seeing numbers.

Not sure how many of you now that French Stewart (above) was also in the orignal stargate movie, he was one of O'neill's soldiers.

I recognized French immediately tonight, but I had no idea he was in the original film, even though I saw it about 4 months ago. He's a very versatile actor.

Finally, an episode that made Camille worthwhile. This was a pretty good episode even though it was just a couple of people trapped story. They pulled it off well enough that I didn't really think about that while watching. Good bottle episode.

I liked French Stewart in Third Rock but I'm not convinced that he has any talent as a drama actor.

He was Feretti. That makes two actors from the original film who had roles in the TV series (the other was Richard Kind) who didn't play their original roles. Alexis Cruz who played Skaara and Erick Avari who played Kasuf reprized theirs.

Just for fun:

EDIT: Oh shit, I did the SG-1 series, not the film, whoops....

Biggest problem with the episode: When they were initially stuck in the building, and made the first radio contact, and the plan was to escape and get out of there, WHY didn't they just beam them out? They have Asgard beaming technology, all of our ships use it, all they had to do was beam them out. They made a big deal about finding an exit, and I was just like WTF, beam em out.

Maybe there were no ships in orbit (which would be a stupid thing considering the threat of attack has been known for a while), or maybe the radiation from the naquadria interferes with beaming.

I knew. I hoped he would be playing the same character and had just been promoted way up the chain of command.

I'm not sure who Erick Avari as Kasuf is, but the original translator of the cover stones from Stargate the movie played a charismatic flim flam man in Stargate Atlantis. He was using a device that made people love him. When Daniel Jackson translates the message on the black board he says,"Who translated this?" like the guy was a total chump.

Other bases have technology that jams beaming, like Icarus did, so it's not a stretch to assume this one would to. It really should have been addressed though.

I thought that was a really good episode, especially for an episode that didn't focus on action. It was a good episode for Greer too. I thought the body swapping and bomb defusing storyline were done very well in this episode, and made it a dramatic episode without feeling at all like a cheesy defusing a bomb scenario.

Still not sure why I'm watching, but I guess I need to get to the bitter end.

Beyond the beaming, I think it's silly that the Lucien Alliance would attack the command center when they have the ability to destroy any target in the world. But this is what happens when they do Earth stories without addressing any of the real politics of Earth.

Why would the Lucian Alliance land or crash land right on top of the only place on Earth where the device could be disarmed? If the device is 70 Megatons then they could have landed a dozen miles away in some empty field. The guy didn't seem to want to commit suicide. He wanted to walk away.

Why didn't they use a launched weapon? Why only 70 Megatons? The SGC had a two Gigaton devices when Apophis came to attack Earth and they were still just starting to examine alien tech. The weapons should be on a much larger scale.

Yeah, Destroying Home World Command really isn't the best of targets. It wouldn't destroy the Stargate, and they still have Atlantis of course on Earth, and several ships. Maybe an orbital attack, I dunno, but then you'd think by now we should be able to defend ourselves from that too. When you add it all up, a Lucian Alliance attack on Earth just kinda seems silly.

- Going into this episode, I try to understand why the Lucian Alliance is a threat to Earth.
- Does Lou Diamond Phillips really cost too much to have as a regular?
- “It’d be nice to have supplies” Please don’t make this like Voyager and Atlantis where they can just chat over long distances.
- It was nice to see French Stewart as sort’ve of homage to the earlier Stargate, spreading fifteen years.
- That being said, I can’t blame Rush for disliking being in the same room as him.
- Damn it Greer, should’ve let her die.
- Great to see the Syfy cooking show is constantly getting press in the right hand corner. Stupid SyFy, you don’t deserve to be a network if you can’t make it work on the premise for which you are named!
- This senator is a bitch. Although she did redeem herself at the end.
- “We work here too.” Another great add in Season 2.5 has been the Brody/Volker comedy duo.
- Evans the crazy airman. Seriously, what was up with this guy? Lucian Alliance can’t be that stupid.
- Chloe goes back to being useless.
- Mike Dopud as Varro. Give this man a starring role. I’d much rather watch him than Eli or Chloe.

I'm honestly glad the show is being cancelled. I'm hoping that the franchise will rot for five-ten years, and then some people who can actually write are given the chance to "reboot" it.

The premise is fantastic. The writing makes my brain bleed.

We have no idea if Atlantis is still on earth and where all the ships are currently. We dont even know how many BC304's there are now.
