The Asgard motivation in curing Jack was clear, and he had only been sick for four episodes, and his sickness was a C-plotline at best with only a few minutes spent on it. It was merely a tool to find the Lost City
Chloe has been sick for like ten episodes. Entire episodes were basically focused on it. Characters were angsty and acting like things would never go back to the status quo. All this build-up and emotional investment, Greer's speechifing, Scott looking pensive, Chloe crying, Young drinking, and it went no where!
Jack at least saved the Earth while he was sick. He had some agency, some action. Chloe, save for one moment of action, was meek and utterly boring.
Which is one of the overarching problems with SGU, the characters don't do anything most of the time. Destiny the ship has saved them over and over, while the characters sit and look out the windows.
