So, I'm going to assume it's set between seasons 3 and 4?

Hmm... I'm not a fan of this 'autobiography of a fictional character' format, but I may have to make an exception for Sisko.
I do wonder when this book will be “set”. Doesn’t seem like a project he would have undertaken during the final days of the war, so I wonder if they’ll have him return post-DS9.
Non-linear experimental stream-of-consciousness novel set post-series.
I would guess they'll go with the same conceit they did with the Kirk and Spock autobiographies, that the manuscript was found among Sisko's stuff just after he disappeared. At the very least, I doubt they will have any mention of Sisko returning, not since there is a chance now, however unlikely, that this could be dealt with onscreen.
Maybe he tossed the manuscript out of the wormhole, fully written.

When did Sisko have time to write a book? He was fighting a space war and dealing with alien gods and demons for years and then died.
Same way Riker had the time to explore a holoprogram while debating his own decision-making on a high-stakes mission, I suppose!
Come to think of it, it would make more sense if it were a biography of Ben Sisko written by Jake Sisko.

There's an unlicensed Trek novel I'm seeing on Twitter, with authentic looking cover art. It's a bit sad that we've had so few actual releases but the guy behind this can get his book printed
IIRC, only the copyright holder can report on Amazon. But just look at Axanar, still selling unlicensed Trek merch years after reaching a settlement specifically forbidding them from doing so. If CBS really cared, all this knockoff stuff would be gone.
Nice art! No "Star Trek" though, so it's not pretending to be licensed. Looks very military, in the Axanar vein that doesn't appeal to me. Interesting that it uses Kenneth Wescott, from the Errand of Fury novels.
