S&S now has "Untitled SNW" in its catalogue: https://www.simonandschuster.com/bo...ry/Star-Trek-Strange-New-Worlds/9781668002384 Listed for release November 8; no author identified, but I assume this is the John Jackson Miller book previously trailed.
Same, though Picard has been hardcovers first as well, so maybe they're doing this now for the in-production shows, or the ones since Discovery (since Wonderlands was still a paperback). Alternatively, since the title and author are still not on that page, it may be subject to change as details come out.
I don't think so. It's difficult to find the revised release date online, but one site I found said April 6, so maybe next week?
I guess not? After the long delay to actually receive issue one, I've just been waiting for the digital supplement to figure out when the magazine is supposed to get here.
I hope I get my copy in the mail soon. Lets hope everyone will get it. And everyone will not have to wait a long time to get their magazines too.
I just got issue 2 in the mail. And it turns out I was confused. My new story is in this issue, not the next one!
So this next new listing technically comes out in 2023, but it should be part of the 2022 publishing slate, so I can argue I don't have to make a new thread... Star Trek: Discovery - New Horizons by Dayton Ward, scheduled for 17 January 2023. No blurb yet, just the bare listing. Could this cover the six-month gap between seasons 3 and 4, or possibly Spoiler: DIS Season 4 spoiler Tilly's transfer to the Academy covering the latter half of the season? One man knows (at least, I hope he does!).
Well if nothing I would encourage you to start a dedicated thread now so in the future there will be solid evidence by the 2023 thread's starting date of 'Oh yeah, 2022 was that letdown year in terms of releases.' and to leave your mark as the discoverer of this information on this forum.
Awesome, I greatly enjoyed Dayton Ward’s last Discovery novel, so I‘m optimistic for this one! For purely selfish reasons (me not having seen season 4) I hope it‘s set in the gap between seasons 3 and 4:
