Just found out that the audio version of A CONTEST OF PRINCIPLES is being recorded next week.

Time to finish up that pronunciation guide!

Are we stuck with "LDS" as the shorthand for LOWER DECKS? Because I keep reading that as Latter-Day Saints.

"Wait. We're doing Mormon STAR TREK novels now?'

As someone raised LDS, I have to confess to always wanting to see a random Mormon character in a star trek book . . . I know religion is mostly dead for humans, but I think Mormonism could survive first contact in a way many other religions wouldn't.

So bring it on. You'll sell at least one copy .

It was Kirk who said that about Spock, but yeah, I figured that had to be the allusion.
