^ Just Diana in that blue dress I posted before.

Locutus, I love it that your avatar uses Cincinnati Union Terminal to represent the Hall of Justice. A nice nod to the Hall's real-life inspiration, and to one of the most gorgeous works of Art Deco monumental architecture in the US.
I like the sculpting on the cowl, but I'm not sure of the rest. The Batsuit in the second and third Nolan movies looked genuinely functional and practical, body armor you could move around in. This seems more like the older movie designs that were more sculpted for show.
And I don't like the oversized Dark Knight Returns-style Bat logo. I'm also tired of Bat logos that are the same color as the rest of the costume. Okay, I get it, camouflage and all, but if he wanted to be camouflaged, why use a logo at all? The very existence of the logo implies that it's meant to be seen.
Not crazy about the new Batmobile either. It's still very Tumbler-ish.
Still, the cowl looks very good.
"If you want to see what this … suit looks like, you just go to Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, go to the third book, Hunt the Dark Knight, said Smith. "It's the exact … outfit he's wearing."
And I totally hate the art in TDKR. And I hate the way a whole generation of comics creators has totally missed the point of that work. It was meant to be a satirical deconstruction of Batman and DC superheroes, taking them to a ludicrously dystopian extreme in an alternate future for the sake of the satire. (Ditto with Watchmen.) It was never meant to be a template for routine comics storytelling, but a generation of comics writers have embraced that over-the-top, ultraviolent satire and played it straight, which really diminished its meaning and took superhero comics to a far darker and nastier place than they should ever have gone to.
So no, the fact that this movie is using TDKR as its template for Batman does not encourage me in the slightest.
My biggest gripe with the new costume is that that's exactly what it looks - a costume.
If you were a crime-fighting vigilante with unlimited financial and technological resources, would you go out in spandex, or would you get yourself a custom-made, hi-tech, bullet-proof battle armour?
Y'know, like this one?

1. It's hilarious that Batman is first in the title. Bigger star? A reflection on Superman in someway? And basically saying, this isn't a Man of Steel sequel.
3. I just suddenly remembered, Ecks Vs. Sever: Something Something. Ugh.
4. Batman v Superman. Is Batman suing Superman? I would like to see that court case.

Warner Bros. knows which of its superhero franchises has been most successful.

I believe it was Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, and I have no idea why I remember that.

You beat me to it. Although the title is also amusingly reminiscent of the Singaporean fellow who gained infamy a while back for being named Batman bin Suparman. The V could almost be a middle initial.
And yeah, the subtitle is pretty much an admission that this is a Justice League origin film.
