Some details about the new Bruce Wayne. After his parents died he let go of all the staff except for Alfred.

Wayne Manor was left to rot.

We've gotten in a whole bunch of BvS toys at the Wal-Mart where I work. I was disappointing when I saw that there were two or three versions of Superman and Batman, but only one version of Wonder Woman. I guess with the way things tend to go, we should just be glad to get even one version of her.

I think that Lex will end up a part of the Justice League in the movies. Everything seems to be pointing to a synergy between the movies and the comics.

I strongly disagree. Luthor's stint on the Justice League is bound to be temporary, he's just to iconic as a villain, and I actually expect him to leave the team with Johns leaving the title.

So the movies going that route, I just don't see it happening. The synergy is not that big a deal, hey, Clark is dating Lois in the movies, not Wonder Woman.

WB sees Johns as their go to guy now. He has more power than Didio as to DC's overall direction.
Lex has never been a "hero" in Justice League which has made the title all the more interesting.
By this time next year, Clark will be back with Lois in the comics and who knows what Johns has planned for Lex?

As for the movies, I bet a lot depends on how well JE is received as the character. If he is stand out then you can be sure to see him in a lot of DC films for the foreseeable future.

It's a Batman vs Superman movie, ofcourse they're gonna advertise with these two characters. Wonder Woman, in this movie, is still onlya supporting character, not a main character. By the time her own movie and Justice League will come out, we'll be smothered in toys and cerealboxes with WW.

And I know people were complaining about the issue of female action figures. And I agree with a lot of what people are saying. However, in this case, I needed to comment. Hell, my girlfriend is a HUGE supporter of better female representation when it comes to superheroes in toyline, and even she says people need to realize this movie isn't about her, and she hopes that when Wonder Woman is released, people will actually do the right thing when it comes to the toys and merchandise.

Not a fan of Snyder's films, but I'm openly accepting this than Lucius Fox creating everything for Batman, which to me stripped all of the creative aspects of the character in the Nolan films. Bale was James Bond in an advanced motorcycle outfit.

^ I'm just afraid they've turned Batman into James Bond ... and Q ... and all of MI5. The logistics of Bruce and Alfred building all of that seems kind of crazy even for a genius billionaire.

On the other hand, this is a genius billionair who's been doing this for decades. This Batcave wasn't built in a day...

I hear ya, it's just when it's put front and center like that. It's like I can ignore the universal translator until they bring attention to it and then it all falls apart. It won't ruin the movie for me. :)
It always been up front. Bruce Wayne was playing with expensive gadgets when Bond was a gleam in Ian Fleming's eye. Though I'm pretty sure Ra's Al Ghul was meant to be Bondian villian.

The little blurbs keep mentioning that Bruce and Alfred constantly refine and tweak gadgets.

There's a mix of old and new tech in the cave.

If the Batmobile get's destroyed it's not like they can go to "Joe's Bodyshop" and repair it

;)

".....but batman always comes prepared"

ha!

I don't think many people see Wonder Woman as a copy of Superman, there isn't that much overlap in their powers and their whole shtick is different, but even if that were the case depowering a female character to differentiate her from a male character is just plain wrong.
Admittedly I stopped reading superhero comics in the late 80s, but up to that point I NEVER saw a flying version of Wonder Woman (except for invisible plane).
Possibly the flying Wonder Woman originated with one of the cartoon shows?
