‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

Oh great, this is gonna have fanboys in an uproar. Heath Ledger all over again. How about we wait untill we actually see a performance. You know, the thing any character is supposed to be judge up on.

I'm so sick on tired about everyone always complaining about costumes and looks. Christ, they've changed the looks of comicbook characters so often in the comics themselves, there is no THE look for any character. FFS, there was a point in the comics that the Joker didn't even have a bloody face!!

*EDIT* Just to make it clear, I like it sofar. But I'm gonna wait and see what Jared makes of the character first, before I comment.

Yeah, this is like an unstoppable force vs. an immovable object.

Okay, I can understand that. You can't really judge the entire look from single image especially without the costume. It is jus --

Wait, what? You can't bitch about people judging the look before seeing the performance and then immediately judge it yourself. Hypocrite much?

^I'm sure Mage can speak for himself but I don't see any hypocrisy there. I took his statement to refer to the sort of comments along the lines of 'this Joker is going to suck'/'this movie will be awful'/'I hate his performance already' on the basis that some people don't like the look of the photo.

I don't think he was suggesting that people can't express a view on the look of Leto's Joker - simply that we shouldn't judge what his performance will be like yet.

You really can't see the difference.

I think Leto looks fantastic. He's like the perfect blend of Tony Daniel's, The Killing Joke, and Marilyn Manson, with ink for color. It's exactly what I'd expect a 2016 Joker to look like.

I think the Leto pic captures the crazy, and Joker's all about the crazy. The look is spot on for this project. Three thumbs up.

I dunno, I always thought of the Joker as a bit more dichotomous, what with the clownish "sillier" appearance hiding the more diabolical and crazy nature underneath. Something a child wouldn't be fearful of at first glance, not until the monstrous nature leaked through.

But I guess these are just darker and different times.

So is it more scarier to have a Joker like this because someone realistically in our world can do this to themselves?

The white skin could just be makeup and the hair an easy dye job

Or would people prefer the acid flower and purple suits?
